Validate restore procedures and document disaster recovery verification steps.
Security & Compliance
Review STIG compliance guidance and validate current configurations against RHOSP 17.x standards.
Verify firewall, SELinux, and authentication policies on controller and compute nodes.
Conduct vulnerability scans using Red Hat Insights or OpenSCAP, tracking remediation and compliance.
Capacity & Performance
Add and validate compute nodes using Director (TripleO).
Support GPU node onboarding and verify Nova GPU scheduling.
Perform performance tuning for Nova, Neutron, and Cinder services.
Automation & Efficiency
Develop Ansible playbooks for provisioning, patching, and backups.
Maintain Git-based automation repositories for version control and change management.
Continuous Improvement
Identify knowledge or tooling gaps across RHOSP environments.
Propose and lead training or shadowing sessions for OpenStack and Ansible operations.
Provide monthly improvement reports on performance, automation, and reliability metrics.
Required Qualifications
10 years of Linux system architecture and administration experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux and RHOSP (preferably 17.1).
Proven experience architecting and operating private or hybrid OpenStack clouds.
Strong expertise in Ansible, Terraform, Git, and automation workflows.
Solid knowledge of Prometheus, Alert manager, Grafana, and STF.
Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting.
Excellent communication and leadership skills with cross-functional collaboration.
