Job description
About Us: Inca Digital is a veteran-owned data and intelligence company specializing in digital-asset analytics for exchanges, financial institutions, regulators, and government partners. By fusing data across blockchains, exchanges, social networks, and traditional markets, our platforms deliver market surveillance, ecosystem monitoring, and counter–illicit finance intelligence to help clients identify risk and solve complex global challenges. We bring together top-tier intelligence analysts, defense veterans, data engineers, and quant researchers to build cutting-edge technologies at the intersection of national security and financial technology.
Position Overview Inca Digital is hiring a dual-threat Data Analyst / Chief of Staff to drive advanced data analytics, graph-based network analysis, and executive operations for a high-visibility U.S. Department of Defense initiative. Operating directly on-site in Tampa, FL, you will bridge the gap between complex data architecture and senior mission leaders—translating large-scale datasets into actionable intelligence while ensuring key operational priorities stay on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
Technical & Advanced Analytics
Graph & Network Analysis: Query large-scale, complex datasets to identify hidden relationships, networks, behavioral patterns, and operational anomalies.
Mission Insight Generation: Translate raw technical outputs into clear, high-level briefing materials, decision memos, and actionable recommendations for senior DoD stakeholders.
Data Integration & Visualization: Design, build, and support interactive dashboards, analytical queries, and custom use cases across disparate data streams.
Requirements Translation: Bridge operational defense requirements into clearly defined technical tasks for engineering and data architecture teams.
Chief of Staff & Operational Leadership
Executive Coordination: Align cross-functional contractor, government, and technical teams around core mission objectives and deliverable timelines.
Strategic Briefings: Draft, refine, and present strategic reports, executive summaries, slide decks, and meeting materials for senior decision-makers.
Project Governance: Track project milestones, manage leadership action items, and clear operational bottlenecks to keep high-priority initiatives moving forward.
Qualifications
Experience: 3+ years of combined experience in data analytics and project management/executive support (DoD, IC, or national security context strongly preferred).
Technical Skills: Hands-on experience analyzing complex datasets, utilizing graph databases/network analysis tools, and building data visualizations.
Communication: Demonstrated ability to distill highly technical, complex findings into brief, low-friction insights for non-technical senior executives.
Operational Agility: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Why Join Us?
High-Trust, Impact-First Culture: While this role requires on-site collaboration in Tampa to support our DoD customer, we operate in an outcome-driven, high-trust environment where we prioritize real-world mission impact and delivered results over arbitrary clock-watching.
Thought Leadership & Cutting-Edge Tech: Join a recognized industry leader operating at the direct intersection of national security and digital assets, working with bleeding-edge technologies that define the modern threat landscape.
Competitive Core Benefits: We provide competitive compensation paired with a comprehensive benefits suite, including top-tier medical, dental, vision coverage, and a secure 401(k) plan.
Investing in Your Well-Being: We support the whole employee with dedicated childcare stipends, wellness allowances, and comprehensive employee assistance resources (EAP) to keep you and your family thriving.
Inclusion & Equal Opportunity: As a veteran-owned company, Inca Digital thrives on diverse perspectives, specifically across race, gender, neurodivergence, and veteran status, to solve complex data challenges. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer; all qualified applicants receive consideration without regard to protected status, including disability or national origin.
