Job description
Brand:
Bagel Brands
Bagel Brands is the parent company for your favorite breakfast brands, Einstein Bros. Bagels, Bruegger s Bagels, Noah s NY Bagels, and Manhattan Bagel. We believe in the bagel and how it has the unique ability to bring people together. Our team has a standard set of values and behaviors that allow us to spread a little more joy and happiness in the world. They let us laugh, smile, and enjoy each other’s company a little more. These are the behaviors that guide how we work, how we treat each other, and how we treat our guests. We believe that there is no better way to make someone’s day than with a warm, fresh-baked bagel and a heart-felt good morning.
The Senior Financial Analyst supports Bagel Brands’ financial planning, performance analysis, and decision-making by delivering accurate reporting, rigorous analysis, and actionable business insights. This role serves as a key financial partner to Operations and Support Center leaders, helping optimize labor investments, improve productivity, and ensure alignment between staffing plans and business performance.
The Senior Financial Analyst operates with a high degree of independence and ownership, translating complex financial and operational data into clear insights and recommendations that inform business decisions. In alignment with Bagel Brands’ Mission, Vision, and Values, this role brings curiosity, financial rigor, and strong partnership to the work—helping the organization understand not only what is happening in the business, but why it is happening and what actions may improve performance.

· Analyze store-level, market-level, and enterprise labor performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations to Operations leadership.
· Investigate labor variances and identify root causes related to staffing levels, wage trends, overtime, and operational execution.
· Investigate operating expense variances and identify root causes related to execution and vendor management.
· Prepare monthly reporting and executive level presentations that summarize labor performance, key risks, opportunities, and recommended actions.

· Partner with Finance and cross-functional leaders to develop, challenge, and refine planning assumptions.
· Analyze actual performance against forecasts and identify emerging trends that may impact future results.
· Recommend adjustments to forecasts and assumptions based on business performance and evolving conditions.
Business Partnership & Continuous Improvement
· Serve as a strategic financial partner to Operations, providing financial insights that support field execution and operational decision-making. Support field leaders in understanding labor trends, productivity metrics, and financial impacts of operational decisions.
