Job description
Amazon Prime is a core pillar of Amazon’s consumer businesses, serving over 200 million members worldwide across 26+ countries. Prime aspires to be the world’s most engaging, satisfying, and loved membership program – delivering profitable growth by improving the Amazon experience through fast shipping, exclusive deals, digital entertainment, and an ever-expanding set of benefits.
The Amazon Prime UX Design team is at the heart of the Prime membership, innovating and designing on behalf of our customers. We are relentlessly focused on improving the membership experience to delight customers around the globe. Prime UX researchers and designers work with global Product, Marketing, Branding, Data Science, and Tech team partners, to deliver compelling customer experiences for Amazon worldwide (WW).
The WW Prime Member Growth team is on a mission to bring the value of Prime to hundreds of millions of customers worldwide. We're looking for a Product Designer to join our growing team and shape the end-to-end Prime membership experience — from how customers discover and understand Prime's value to how they engage with it every day. In this role, you'll work on high-impact initiatives at the intersection of AI and membership, including conversational AI assistants, AI-driven personalization, and value communication strategies that help customers get the most out of their membership. You'll collaborate with product managers, engineers, researchers, and cross-functional partners to define, design, and deliver experiences that reach a truly global audience.
To thrive in this role, you think big and lead before you’re asked. You juggle competing priorities across projects and stakeholders without losing the thread of what’s best for the customer. You know how to present ideas professionally through a strategic and creative lens. You have a strong capability to collaborate closely with other UX designers, product management, engineering, scientists, and operational teams as you go from early-stage product concepts to launches of new features and experiences. You have a solid understanding of dynamic interfaces and conversation design fundamentals. You approach your craft with an AI-native mindset, actively integrating AI tools and capabilities into your research, ideation, and delivery process to move faster and raise the quality of your output. You think first from the customer's perspective, use research and data to influence your designs, set relentlessly high standards for yourself, and deliver best-in-class customer experiences. You thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment. The ideal candidate will be able to visualize an experience in the abstract, break down complex use cases, and drive the vision into solid design deliverables.
