Ukraine Work type: Office/Remote Technical Level: Middle Job Category: Design Project: Multinational payment card services provider Our client is a leading financial institution focused on digital innovation and customer-centric solutions. We are seeking a Middle Graphic Designer for a 6-month project role to strengthen client’s team in producing high-volume product graphics for the banking app, used daily by millions of people. Visual style and brand guidelines are already established; your mission is to design scalable, high-quality visual assets following existing direction. Key Responsibilities: • Graphic Design System Development: Expand, refine, and systematize iconography and illustration libraries. • Product Asset Creation: Design custom vector icon sets, 2D/3D and raster illustrations, interface graphics, and onboarding visuals. • Visual Research: Build moodboards, reference collections, and storyboards to explore visual concepts. • Figma Asset Management: Maintain organized component libraries with variables and variants for seamless handoff to product designers and developers. • Technical Handoff & Optimization: Export assets in required formats (SVG, Lottie, PNG), optimize file sizes, and ensure full compatibility with Light and Dark modes. • In-App Visuals: Create graphic assets for banners, push notifications, and touchpoints. Requirements: • Experience: 3+ years in graphic design, focusing on digital product assets. • Portfolio: Proven track record of vector/raster illustrations and icon systems created for digital products ( mandatory upon application ). • AI Tool Integration: Practical experience leveraging AI tools and Figma plugins (e.g., Figma Weave, generative AI tools) to speed up graphic generation and processing. • Icon Fonts: End-to-end experience with icon fonts, from drawing to building and delivering font files to engineering. • Guideline Compliance: Ability to work within tight brand guidelines while maintaining visual consistency across large asset packs. • Technical Precision: Pixel-perfect attention to detail, grids, line weight consistency, and vector node optimization. • Software Stack: Advanced proficiency in Figma (components, variants, libraries), Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop. • Ownership: Ability to drive tasks end-to-end, from initial sketch to polished UI components and production-ready exports. • Feedback-Oriented: Comfortable with iterative design reviews and incorporating feedback. Nice to Have: • Basic-to-intermediate 2D animation skills (After Effects / Lottie) to bring icons and illustrations to life. • Experience with 3D graphics tools (e.g., Blender). • Previous experience in fintech, banking, or other high-load products.
