As a Backend developer, you are an innovative thinker with a "can-do" attitude. You will work with teams across the company to leverage technologies that support our backend applications. Your work can include new features, enhancements, and resolving defects for web, mobile, and IoT solutions. Those things are important because our products impact people's lives.
In this role, you will develop, optimize and maintain SQL and PL/SQL code. You will build and maintain Bash and Python automation scripts . You will develop, deploy, run and support application schema and releases. You will create and manage jobs and automations for various data management operations. You will develop and support cloud-based database capabilities and patterns. You will perform SQL/PLSQL performance tuning and query optimization. You will analyze application issues and resolve defects. You will contribute to modern Oracle implementation standards and practices, and partner with application teams to design scalable database designs. You will support SRE related operations, and work across multiple database technologies in hybrid environments. You will build agents to automate data operations (query, fix and analytics).
Every day, you'll be coding and asking questions that clarify scalability and user challenges. You will be part of an Agile environment working with a team of talented engineers, product owners, and stakeholders continually developing, deploying, and testing application software.
To thrive in this career, you must have experience with Oracle databases, SQL, PL/SQL and Python. Our best backend developers are passionate creators and proactive problem solvers who stay current on new technologies. They're always looking for new ways to make tools better for our users.
