Our platform handles the complexities behind the scenes— screening, compliance, scheduling, and payments—so knowledge sharing stays focused on meaningful insights and real impact. We're a hyper-growth and profitable company, quickly expanding our expert network, launching new offices, and new products. We are headquartered in San Francisco, with offices in Brooklyn and Bangalore. Our customers include the fastest-growing digital health companies, technology companies, institutional investment firms, consulting firms and AI Labs. We are backed by top marketplace investors and operators of companies like DoorDash, Airbnb, Affirm. WHAT WE BELIEVE Human knowledge is the world's most valuable asset. And yet, despite being more interconnected than ever, most knowledge still remains stuck in our heads, inaccessible and underutilized. Our vision is to make human knowledge easily accessible and infinitely scalable by building tools for the new age knowledge economy. ABOUT THE ROLE We're hiring a Business Operations Associate to work on the most important problems at Office Hours. You'll report to our Business Operations Lead, partner with every part of the leadership team, and swarm wherever the company needs you most. Your first tour of duty is our revenue engine: the core expert-network business that funds everything else. After that, the work follows the company's biggest problems. This role is for a top-performing former consultant or operator who is AI-native, has the presence to work directly with leadership, and wants to build things rather than advise on them. WHAT YOU'LL DO Your first projects: - Build our RevOps function. Own how Client Solutions and Sales set goals, track performance, and run the business: the weekly book-of-business and pipeline reviews, the CRM, and reporting people actually use. When we ship new tools, build the materials and drive adoption. - Build our first business analytics function. Give the leadership team the commercial insight it needs for planning, offsites, and strategy. Go from raw data to a recommendation, then help execute it. - Run the business AI-natively. Find the rote work across every team and automate it, so we scale output, not headcount. Help us redesign how we structure our teams and our information ecosystem to “master the material notion.com of AI. - Design incentives, pricing, and margin. Partner with Finance on comp plans, pricing, and discounting that tie team performance to company goals. - Own renewals. Usage reporting, QBRs for our largest clients, and a renewal and upsell plan for every key account. - Launch what's next. Market research, TAM sizing, and new product and market launches. Turn early traction into a repeatable process. WHAT YOU BRING - AI-native. You are pushing the forefront of AI usage wherever you work, and are excited to continue pushing the frontiers of using AI for operations. (example a16z.news). You are a tinkerer and experimenter - you know when something is a cool experiment vs. something you need to scale to the entire company. You move faster without outsourcing your taste, and you know slop when you see it. - Curiosity. You’re relentlessly curious about the problems in front of you and the world around you. You bring ideas from parallel domains to bear on hard problems, and you love reasoning by metaphor and analogy. - Low ego, high ownership. You'll run a planning review one hour and fix a broken tracker the next. When a process doesn't exist, you build it. (More on what we mean: Heat Seeking Missile for Pain x.com, Barrels vs. Ammunition youtube.com, Be Relentlessly Resourceful paulgraham.com) - Structured and rigorous. You break messy questions down, get to a recommendation, and change your mind when the data says so. You're comfortable going 0→1 with limited direction. - Strong analytical chops. Data-driven thinker, structured problem solver. You know SQL, or you're eager to master it. - Commercial instinct. You reason quickly about strategy, and you understand what makes salespeople tick and how to align incentives. - Executive presence. You're as at home presenting to the leadership team as you are debugging a data issue with engineering, and you know when to go deep and when to stay high-level. - 2–4 years in management consulting, investment banking, or an analytically rigorous role (strategy & operations, analytics, data science) at a high-growth company. BONUS EXPERIENCE - A B2B marketplace, professional services firm, or expert network - Owning an operating cadence (operating review, planning, OKRs) and making it better each cycle - Account management, renewals, or QBRs - CRM (Attio or similar) and BI tools (Metabase, Tableau, Omni) BENEFITS + PERKS - Competitive salary and equity - Medical, dental, and vision coverage - 401(k) - Monthly wellness and fitness stipend - Paid time off policy, along with company holidays - Annual company off-sites (Tahoe, Mendocino, Mexico City, San Diego, Park City) - Remote work flexibility - Paid parental leave (12 weeks of fully paid bonding leave, and birthing parents get 8–10 additional weeks of paid recovery leave) Pay Transparency Notice Full-time offers include base salary, equity, and benefits.
