BI Consultant and Tableau Developer (Tool Engineer) at TeleWorld Solutions

Job description

The Mission, Should You Choose to Accept It: TeleWorld Solutions is not just another telecom company; we’re architects of connection. We're on a hunt for a Telecom BI Consultant & Tableau Developer —a hybrid mind who sees the hidden patterns in the noise and transforms them into breathtaking, business-changing insights. You will be our “ Tool Engineer ,” the master craftsman who doesn't just build reports, but forges intuitive, powerful data experiences. You'll partner with Network Ops, Marketing, Sales, and Finance to turn complex telecom data (we're talking CDRs, network performance, customer lifecycle, churn signals) into a strategic asset that’s as beautiful as it is actionable. If you dream in data layers and speak the languages of both SQL and stakeholder, this is your stage. Who We Are: The Architects of What Connects Us You find the signal in the noise of data. We build the signal itself. We are TeleWorld Solutions , and we are the strategic backbone for the world's most ambitious wireless networks. We're not just consultants; we're the engineers, designers, and problem-solvers that operators, OEMs, and tower giants trust to bring their boldest visions to life. Our playground is the invisible architecture of connection—from vast macro networks to the hyper-precise world of DAS, Small Cells, and Wi-Fi. With a legacy of hundreds of thousands of successful implementations , we help our clients navigate the entire lifecycle of their network: from the first line of a design to the final optimization, and every critical decision about performance and value in between. Why does this matter to you The complex data you will master—the CDRs, network KPIs, and customer signals—flows from the very infrastructure we design and optimize. You won't just be analyzing abstract numbers; you'll be interpreting the digital heartbeat of networks that we helped bring to life. Your insights will directly influence the next generation of those networks. Here, your work as a data storyteller is powered by deep, tangible engineering excellence. You provide the "what" and "why." We provide the "how" on a global scale. Welcome to the engine room of connection. Let's build what's next Responsibilities: • Become Our Insight Conductor: Design and deploy actionable, decision-driving BI dashboards that illuminate paths to optimize our internal processes, enhance our service delivery, and elevate our hardware and software offerings. • Master the Network’s Pulse : Own the creation of our Wireless Network RAN KPI dashboards . Build the intuitive, real-time lens through which our engineering teams monitor, measure, and optimize the performance of the very networks we design. • Automate Intelligence: Unleash the power of Tableau, Alteryx, SQL, and Python/R to automate complex analysis, transforming raw data streams into a wellspring of proactive, business-ready insights—freeing our minds from manual reports. • Forge the Self-Service Arsenal: Be the architect of our interactive Tableau analytics ecosystem . Design dashboards so intuitive and powerful that you empower the entire organization to answer their own questions, fostering a true data-driven culture. • Showcase Technical Artistry: Wield the full spectrum of Tableau’s advanced toolkit —from LOD calculations and parameters to forecasting, clustering, and geospatial mapping—to craft executive-level dashboards that are both visually stunning and analytically profound. • Map the Story: Create compelling map visualizations that tell the geographical story of our network performance and customer impact, turning abstract data into a spatial narrative. • Champion Automated Intelligence: Develop and promote automation through scheduled reports and intelligent alerts, ensuring critical insights find their audience without delay. • Engineer the Data Foundation: Write elegant , high-performance SQL queries and stored procedures to shape, blend, and prepare complex data from diverse sources, building the robust datasets that fuel all decision-making. • Build the Data Pipeline: Design and optimize data pipelines using Delta Live Tables on Databricks , ensuring efficient, reliable, and scalable data movement to balance computational power with analytical agility. • Be the Bridge: Partner directly with business teams across the company—from Network Ops to Finance—to translate their strategic needs into crisp technical requirements for reports, dashboards, and data products. • Drive Agile Delivery: Embody agile methodologies to plan, manage, and deliver high-quality analytics products with transparency, adaptability, and speed. • Own the Narrative: Track project status, manage deliverables, and provide crystal-clear, regular updates to stakeholders, ensuring everyone is aligned and informed. • Showcase & Refine: Plan and lead engaging demos and product testing sessions, turning feedback into fuel for continuous improvement. • Elevate the Team: Become our Tableau guru , training, mentoring, and supporting users across the company to amplify their data skills and maximize the value of our tools. • Shape the Future: Support our ongoing technology evaluation and lead proof-of-concept projects, helping us stay at the bleeding edge of what's possible in data and analytics. Ready to build the intelligence layer for the networks that connect the world? Let's talk. Your Arsenal of Expertise (What You Bring to the Forge): Non-Negotiable Credentials (Your Badges of Honor): • Certification as a Tableau Desktop Specialist is your entry ticket. A Tableau Certified Data Analyst or Server Certified Associate title makes us lean in closer. • A decade-plus (10+ years) of battlefield experience wielding Tableau in the corporate arena, crafting complex, mission-critical dashboards and visual narratives. Experience with Tableau Prep is a welcome addition to your toolkit. • A minimum of 2 years hands-on with the power of AWS and Databricks —the cloud-scale engines for our data. • At least 3 years of proven fluency in the languages of data manipulation: Spark SQL, SQL, and Python. • Advanced SQL Mastery: The ability to write not just queries, but elegant, high-performance data symphonies and stored procedures is paramount. • A deep, intuitive understanding of BI design and development principles —you know what makes an insight not just visible, but visceral. The "Pizazz" Factors (What Makes You Irresistible): • 3+ years with Alteryx and an Alteryx Designer Expert certification? You speak the language of analytical workflow automation, and we’re fluent. • A mind for statistical concepts —you don't just show the "what," you intuit the "why." • Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies (certification is a shiny plus). You thrive in iterative, collaborative delivery. • A telecommunications or wireless infrastructure background. You know the unique rhythm of network data, CDRs, and RAN KPIs. This isn't just data; it's the pulse of the connected world. • A proven portfolio of end-to-end BI implementation and automation. You don't just build a dashboard; you own its lifecycle and impact. • The mental fortitude to wrestle complex, high-volume, multi-dimensional data from disparate sources into submission, with a complete command of data quality, cleansing, and transformation. • The innate curiosity to find the story —to analyze data, spot the patterns, and extract the golden, actionable business insight others miss. • The Essential Human Code (How You Operate): • A problem-solver's heart and an analyst's mind. You have a demonstrated track record of researching complex challenges and forging elegant solutions. • A master communicator and presenter who can translate technical brilliance into strategic clarity for any audience. • A project leadership mentality with excellent people skills. You have a history of defining direction, mentoring colleagues, and elevating team efficiency. • Unshakeable integrity and a collaborative spirit. You have a strong work ethic and excel in a team environment where we win together. • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite —the classic tools of the trade, wielded with expertise. The Mission Environment (Real Talk on How We Operate): • This role is for the driven, the resilient, and those who find energy in intellectual challenge. You will: • Collaborate Intensely: Build and maintain critical relationships within and outside the company. Your interpersonal skills are as vital as your technical ones. • Embrace the Digital Workspace: Operate a keyboard and monitor in an office environment for the majority of your work. • Answer the Call When Needed: Periodically work beyond a standard schedule to meet mission-critical deadlines and project cycles. • Thrive Under Healthy Pressure: Perform in an environment with time-sensitive challenges, intellectual rigor, and the dynamic stresses of project ownership and high-stakes data. • Travel Occasionally (approx. 20%**) to connect with customers, showcase work, or gather insights on the ground. • Operate with Autonomy and Trust: Work under minimal supervision with high responsibility. Your decisions will directly impact outcomes, and you will be the guardian of confidential data central to our competitive edge. Ready to deploy your expertise on projects that matter? Let’s build the intelligence layer for the networks that connect the world. Join Our Veteran-Friendly Team: Are you a veteran or a veteran spouse with expertise in telecommunications?
