Job description

Role We're looking for a Content Writer to help Pace tell the stories that define our company and category. You'll turn customer outcomes, executive narratives, product launches, and complex ideas about AI and insurance into content that the industry relies on. What this looks like in practice: - Develop customer stories: Interview customers and internal teams, find the real narrative, and create case studies, profiles, videos, and other proof that shows Pace's impact. - Write launch narratives: Partner with product marketing to create product announcements, launch blog posts, website copy, and supporting content that make technical products clear and compelling. - Extend every strong idea: Adapt long-form work into social content, email, sales collateral, event programming, and other formats without making it feel generic or repetitive. - Own the editorial process: Build a practical calendar, manage reviews, coordinate contributors, and keep work moving from idea to publication. - Protect Pace's voice: Maintain a clear, credible, and distinctive standard across everything we publish. You're a great fit if you: - Have 2+ years of experience in content, customer marketing, integrated marketing, journalism, communications, or another writing-intensive role. - Are an exceptional writer and editor with a portfolio that demonstrates clarity, range, judgment, and a strong sense of narrative. - Know how to interview customers, executives, and technical experts, ask strong follow-up questions, and find the detail that makes a story credible. - Can translate complex technical or industry-specific ideas without flattening them or relying on jargon. - Are comfortable starting with a messy transcript, rough notes, or an open-ended conversation and creating structure yourself. Bonus: - Experience writing about AI, infrastructure, financial services, insurance, or another complex industry. - Experience producing multimedia stories, including video interviews or podcasts. - Experience supporting product launches, customer marketing, executive communications, or lightweight PR. Team characteristics The Pace team has a couple of defining characteristics: 1. Integrity: The most important thing is working with good people who want to have a massive impact on the world. Our team genuinely wants to do the best work of their careers and know it’ll take 5-10 years of focus to deliver. 2. Ambition: The ambition for this company is not just a good vertical AI business but a $100bn+ outcome across vertical services. We’re looking for people that rise that level of ambition. Often times this means they want to be the best at what they do, become leaders at scale or one day start their own company. Pace will be the best place to learn, deliver impact and advance your path to do something great. At Pace, we're building a talent-dense team where teammates grow into leaders. This might mean growing into a world-class IC, owning a line of business, or leading teams. Whichever your path, we want to support you to grow at Pace and beyond for the long-term. We're a <40 person team based in-person across New York and London and are lucky to be perfectly positioned with leading customers and top investors to make a real impact on one of the largest industries in the world.
