Job description

The Role We’re hiring an exceptionally driven Applied AI/Bio Scientist to help push the boundaries of what’s possible in therapeutic design. You'll work across the full discovery stack — using state-of-the-art AI to tackle real therapeutic challenges and design drug candidates that were previously out of reach. This is an in-person role in Cambridge, MA. You will: • Apply and adapt frontier AI models to design biologics that push the limits on format, precision, and function. • Partner closely with internal and external scientists and engineers to advance molecules toward their Target Product Profiles. • Collaborate with AI research and engineering teams to improve core models and infrastructure for future discovery. • Leverage modern AI dev tooling to move fast and stay focused on high-value work Qualifications • 4+ years of experience developing or applying AI in biology, chemistry, or physics; therapeutic experience is a plus. • Experience collaborating with wet-lab teams or direct experience with biological experiments. • Strong fluency in Python. • Familiarity with HPC environments (e.g., Kubernetes, SLURM). • Experience with deep learning frameworks like PyTorch. • High agency and a track record of shipping quickly with quality What We Offer • A dry- and wet-lab team and platform that lets you generate and test high-impact therapeutic ideas in days or weeks, not months. • The chance to shape the next generation of drugs, both through Nabla’s internal pipeline and in partnership with world-class Top-10 pharma partners. • A team that deeply values technology and prioritizes technical excellence and rapid execution across AI and biology. • Highly competitive salary, equity, and benefits package.
