Job description

Threekit is looking for a hands-on, client-facing technical partner who supports the sales process by demonstrating, configuring, and articulating the value of Threekit's AI-native configure-price-quote platform. This is not legacy CPQ with AI features bolted on. Threekit's CPQ was built from the ground up with AI at its core, so the job is to show prospects how AI ingests messy catalogs, infers configuration and pricing rules, and produces accurate quotes in a fraction of the time and effort traditional CPQ demands. This is a growth role for someone building depth in applied AI and quote-to-cash solutioning while operating with strong fundamentals in pre-sales and solution engineering. The successful candidate must reside within a reasonable daily commuting distance of our Chicago office and be in the office for 2 days per week. Interested? Apply now! Who We Are Threekit is the Channel Sales Platform for Complex Products, a modern configure-to-quote workflow designed for how channel selling actually works. Threekit gives dealers and customers a faster way to select, visualize, configure, and quote complex products without the rigid structure of traditional CPQ systems. We help manufacturers make complex products easier to buy and sell through the systems they already trust. What We Value At Threekit, our core values can be summed up with the acronym GRIT: Getting things done, Revenue, Innovation, and Team. These principles guide our actions and decisions, shaping the way we work and interact with each other and our customers. At Threekit, GRIT is more than just an acronym; it is the driving force behind our success and growth. What You'll Do Sales & Customer Engagement Partner closely with Account Executives to support deals through technical discovery, solution positioning, and demonstrations. Participate in sales meetings with prospects and calls to map customer quoting workflows, product rules, approval paths, and the manual work AI can take off the table. Deliver customized demonstrations and proofs-of-concept that show AI-driven configuration, pricing, and quoting running against the customer's own catalog and rules. Respond to technical questions during the sales cycle, including RFP and RFI contributions. Solution Design & AI CPQ Enablement Assist in designing AI-native configure-price-quote solutions aligned with customer outcomes, commercial policy, and business requirements. Use the platform's AI to stand up product catalogs, configuration rules, and pricing logic in demo environments, including CRM and ERP integration points. Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Demo, and Forward-Deployed teams to ensure technical accuracy. Translate AI behavior, configuration logic, pricing structures, and integration concepts into clear explanations for technical and non-technical audiences. Technical Growth & Market Awareness Build working knowledge of Threekit's AI architecture and how it drives the configuration engine, pricing model, and quoting stack. Stay informed on applied AI, CPQ, and quote-to-cash trends, including how legacy vendors are responding. Improve demo assets, documentation, and enablement materials. Collaboration & Team Contribution Work cross-functionally to ensure smooth handoffs and aligned expectations. Contribute to team knowledge-sharing and best practices.
