Job description

About Perry Weather Perry Weather is the weather safety standard for organizations that operate outdoors. We combine on-site weather hardware with a software platform that automates alerts, siren activations, and safety decisions for more than 3,000 organizations — from the PGA of America, the NFL, and MLB to Turner Construction, thousands of school districts, cities, and golf courses. We've grown 80%+ annually for five consecutive years, and are continuing to grow. We're headquartered in Dallas at The Centrum, in the Oak Lawn neighborhood, where our teams work together every day to help organizations make faster and safer decisions when weather puts people, assets, and operations at risk. About The Role We're looking for a VP of Marketing to own the brand, demand, and revenue influence that will define Perry Weather's next chapter. This role sits at the intersection of storytelling, pipeline generation, and market expansion — partnering directly with the CRO to build a marketing function that's as accountable to revenue as it is to brand. This is a builder's role. You'll be shaping messaging, running campaigns, managing partner relationships, and developing a team — all while keeping a close eye on what's actually moving pipeline. If you're the kind of marketer who's equally comfortable in a strategy session and inside HubSpot, equally energized by a compelling content brief and a pipeline attribution report, this is the role for you. Responsibilities - Own the category: Establish Perry Weather as the definitive weather safety standard across every vertical we serve including Education, Local Government, Commercial Construction, Manufacturing, Youth Camps and beyond. - Build the growth engine: Design and run repeatable demand generation through targeted campaigns, strong sales enablement, and disciplined GTM execution across inbound, outbound, and partner channels. - Own marketing sourced pipeline: Marketing at Perry Weather is a revenue function. You'll be directly accountable for sourcing ARR through inbound and marketing-driven channels — building the systems, campaigns, and sales enablement infrastructure to hit that number consistently. - Tell the story: Amplify Perry Weather's voice through thought leadership, media, and content that resonates with personas and key buying champions across all segments. - Measure what matters: Build real-time analytics and attribution frameworks that track marketing sourced pipeline and bookings, campaign ROI, and brand performance, and actually use them to make decisions. Requirements - 8+ years of B2B marketing leadership, ideally in high growth SaaS - Proven success building marketing functions from scrappy to scalable. You've done this before, not just managed it - High EQ, low ego — you can write copy, review a campaign brief, and present to the board in the same week - Deep fluency in demand generation, brand strategy, and product marketing - Strong command of marketing systems: CRM, automation, analytics, and the ability to get hands-on when needed - Excellent cross-functional instincts and the ability to work closely with Sales, Product, and the executive team Why Perry Weather - Define the category: Weather safety is a market in motion. You'll shape how thousands of schools, municipalities, commercial contractors, and more think about protecting the people and reduce operational risk caused by weather - Work at the executive level: You'll be a direct partner to the CRO, with real influence over GTM strategy and company narrative. - Sell something that matters: Our product exists to keep people safe outdoors. That's a marketing brief worth getting out of bed for. - Room to build: We've hit 80%+ annual growth for five consecutive years. The infrastructure to sustain that is yours to build. Benefits - You'll want to come into the office. Our Oak Lawn office isn't just a place to sit — it's where ideas move fast and culture stays strong. The whole team is here Monday through Friday, which means real collaboration, no chasing people down over Slack, and a genuinely fun place to spend your work days. - Your wellbeing is covered. Competitive health insurance, 401(k) with employer matching, and a full suite of voluntary benefits, because you shouldn't have to think twice about the basics. - Good people, good times. Monthly All-Hands, Office Olympics, happy hours, and more. We take the work seriously and the culture seriously too. - You're getting in early, and that matters. We're growing fast, but the biggest opportunities are still ahead. The people joining now will help shape what Perry Weather becomes.
