About the team Amazon Optics develops the software that gives security operators actionable situational awareness in the physical domain. Our vision is simple and ambitious: Anticipate threats. Redefine physical security. Build a safer world. We build simple, scalable systems that automate safety and security, giving security operators the tools to measure and monitor their environment. We are the singular enterprise security product that integrates the three core sectors of physical security into one platform: video management, access control, and intrusion alarming and perimeter protection. We strengthen all three with AI analytics. We eliminate hard dependencies on third-party and disparate systems, so our customers get a cohesive, flexible solution and never need intricate knowledge of the systems underneath to get value from what we build. We protect the environments that matter most: customer data, cryptographic material, and the people who work alongside them. We do it at a scale no one else operates, and we build the cloud infrastructure it runs on. That combination is our right to win. We solve our own hardest problems first, at a scale that makes the solution durable and the economics compound. Culturally, we are a team that leads with people. We invest in growth, we celebrate wins by name, and we make sure everyone has a voice. We value builders who bring warmth alongside backbone, who can disagree and commit, and who care as much about developing the people around them as about shipping the product. We move fast, we hold a high bar, and we protect a sustainable pace while we do it. If you want to own the product strategy and the economics for a platform that protects Amazon's most critical spaces, and you want to do it on a team that will invest in you, this is the place.
