Job Title: Senior Python Engineer Location: Plano, TX (100% onsite) USC/GC/GC EAD Only- W2 Requirement Note: No third party/C2C or 1099 6+ years of professional software/backend engineering experience or equivalent. Strong hands-on experience with Python backend development. Experience designing and developing REST APIs and microservices. Strong AWS experience with several of the following: AWS Lambda API Gateway ECS/Fargate EKS/Kubernetes S3 EventBridge SQS/SNS RDS/Aurora DynamoDB ElastiCache/Redis Experience with Docker and containerized application deployment. Experience with Terraform and/or CloudFormation. Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines. Strong understanding of AWS IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager, VPC, and cloud security. Experience with application monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability. Experience with automated testing and software quality practices. Strong understanding of Git, code reviews, Agile development, and production support. Strong communication and technical problem-solving skills.
