At Scribd, Inc., we hire for “GRIT.” Traditionally defined as the intersection of passion and perseverance toward long-term goals, GRIT reflects the mindset we expect from every employee. For us, it also serves as a practical framework for how we work: setting and achieving Goals, delivering Results within your role, contributing Innovative ideas and solutions, and strengthening the broader Team through collaboration and attitude. This posting reflects an approved, open position within the organization. ABOUT OUR TEAM Our iOS Engineering team plays a pivotal role in enhancing the experience of our 2 million subscribers through two key iOS apps: Everand and Scribd. The Everand app is a gateway for our users to access an expansive library of over 7 million titles, including ebooks, audiobooks, podcasts, and magazine articles, offering a Netflix-like experience. The Growth organization drives user engagement and business impact across the customer journey. Our work ties directly to revenue and retention. ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking a Senior iOS Engineer to join our Growth Retention & Monetization team. You will be the iOS technical owner for the team across the Everand and Scribd apps, and lead the subscription, paywall, and retention features that drive revenue.
