Job description

JumpSeat is a B2B growth agency and advisory built around a simple belief: the best opportunities rarely come from the obvious signals. We help go-to-market teams find the non-obvious signals others miss and turn them into highly relevant outreach that earns a response. It's an antidote to the automated, generic outbound buyers have learned to ignore. Our Signal Intelligence methodology combines prioritized accounts, custom signal libraries, AI-assisted research, and 1:1 messaging based on what's actually happening inside a target account, before everybody else sees it. Now we're applying that same methodology to JumpSeat's own growth. The Role We're looking for a sharp, AI-native Account Executive to work directly alongside our CEO on new business. This is a hands-on selling role: 90% of your time will be prospecting — cold calling, leaving voicemails, getting creative with manual emails, and LinkedIn engagement. We've taken the admin work off your plate: we deliver the accounts, the intel, the messaging, and the high-value offers. Your job is to work the accounts: turn signals into relevant outreach, recognize engagement, follow up intelligently, create reasons to respond, and convert conversations into qualified opportunities. We're not looking for someone who simply loads contacts into sequences and waits, or someone who hands everything to AI. We want someone who uses AI to do the heavy lifting while bringing the judgment, creativity, commercial instinct, and human follow-through that actually gets people to respond. What You'll Own • Work prioritized target accounts from signal to conversation. • Activate timely, highly relevant Signal Intelligence outreach across cold calls, voicemails, manual email, and LinkedIn • Use AI to research accounts, sharpen angles, and create outreach that's difficult to ignore • Follow up thoughtfully with engaged prospects rather than relying solely on automation • Create lightweight proof, such as Looms, screenshots, observations, or mini-audits, when it can help break through • Spot buying windows across replies, engagement, intent, and account activity • Hold credible early sales conversations and turn engagement into qualified opportunities • Feed learnings back into our signals, messaging, targeting, and sequences. Who We're Looking For • AI-native. You already use AI for real work, including research, synthesis, messaging, and problem-solving, and know how to push it beyond generic output. This is non-negotiable. • Commercially sharp. You can understand a business, recognize why a signal matters, and develop an angle a buyer might actually care about. • Good with people. You communicate naturally, build rapport, and can turn an email exchange into a credible business conversation. • Hands-on. You're comfortable researching accounts, editing emails, following up, recording Looms, and doing the actual work, not just directing it. • Reliable. Give you a set of accounts and they'll get worked. You follow through without needing constant direction. • Comfortable experimenting. You like testing angles, learning from prospects, and improving the playbook as you go. Formal sales experience is valuable, but commercial instinct, curiosity, communication skills, and follow-through matter more. Nice to Have • Experience generating B2B pipeline or selling consultatively • Familiarity with outbound platforms such as SmartReach, HubSpot, Apollo, Outreach, or similar • Experience with intent data, buying signals, ABM, account intelligence, or signal-based selling • Exposure to logistics, transportation, manufacturing, B2B technology, or professional services What Success Looks Like This isn't a role where success is measured by how many emails you send. Success means the right accounts are being worked intelligently, signals are turning into conversations, and conversations are turning into qualified pipeline. Over time, we'd expect you to take more of the new-business motion from first signal through qualified opportunities. Logistics • Part-time: ~2–4 focused hours per day • Remote and flexible • Work directly with our CEO with access to the tools, data, AI environment, and methodology needed to execute • Base/hourly compensation + performance-based upside • Strong potential to grow into a full-time role as we scale Why This Role Is Different Most outbound roles ask you to execute more activity. This one asks you to develop better reasons to engage. You'll work at the intersection of AI, account intelligence, human judgment, and B2B selling , using Signal Intelligence as the system for creating JumpSeat's next customers. If you see an interesting signal about an account and immediately think, “There's an email in that,” you'll probably enjoy this role.
