Job description

About Us Dorsia is at the forefront of hospitality-tech innovation, redefining how the world gains access to the most in-demand restaurants, events, and experiences. By fusing cutting-edge technology with the art of luxury hospitality, we empower our members to secure impossible-to-get reservations while providing operators with unprecedented levels of control, visibility, and revenue optimization. In 2025, we grew revenue 480% and scaled to 400+ venues across 25 destinations, with the launch of our Culture Calendar extending Dorsia beyond restaurants into the world’s most sought-after cultural moments. Backed by $54M in funding from investors including Index Ventures, Invus, and Red Sea Ventures, and strategic partners including MoonPay, Major Food Group, and The Dinex Group - Daniel Boulud, we are entering our most consequential phase of growth and reshaping the global hospitality landscape. We’re adding exceptional talent to drive what comes next, and that’s where you come in. About the Role Dorsia is seeking a Designer to support the visual output of our brand across go-to-market, editorial, content, and growth marketing with growing involvement in product design. This is a role for a designer with genuine taste, strong foundational craft, and a growing command of motion and animation. The Designer works closely with the editorial, marketing, social, and GTM teams to execute briefs with precision and care, learning the full range of Dorsia's visual language in the process. If you have a sharp eye, move fast, and take quality personally, this is where you build. What You’ll Do Brand & Visual Design Produce digital marketing assets across social, email, and web that reflect the Dorsia brand identity. Support the development of GTM materials including sales decks, one-pagers, alongside member-facing content and internal materials. Assist with editorial and content design in collaboration with the creative and editorial teams. Help maintain visual consistency across all output, applying brand guidelines accurately and consistently. Support digital and event marketing with assets ranging from social graphics to print and experiential collateral on an as-needed basis. Motion & Animation Animate brand moments for social and digital channels, ensuring Dorsia moves with the same restraint and intention it carries in static form. Produce motion assets for member-facing campaigns across email, app, and web, maintaining a consistent visual tempo across formats. Support creative leadership in shaping how the Dorsia brand moves across digital touchpoints. Product Design Support the product design team on day-to-day UI and UX work for Dorsia’s app and web experiences, contributing under the direction of the senior product designer. Design and iterate on interface components, screens, and user flows in Figma, translating product requirements into clean, usable layouts. Help keep the brand and product design systems consistent, so the member experience feels cohesive across every touchpoint. Partner with product and engineering to refine designs through feedback and prepare assets for handoff. Cross-Departmental Collaboration Work closely with the Marketing & Creative teams across editorial, product, email marketing, and GTM projects. Bring creative briefs to life with attention to detail and a willingness to iterate based on feedback. Coordinate with Business Development, GTM teams and other stakeholders as projects require. Manage multiple assignments simultaneously and flag timeline risks early. The Winning Recipe Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Motion Design, or a related field. 1-3 years of professional graphic design experience with a portfolio demonstrating strong digital-first, brand-led work with evidence of motion or animation capabilities. Foundational motion design skills with demonstrated ability to produce animations across social and digital formats. Proficiency in Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and After Effects. Exposure to AI design tools and an eagerness to incorporate them into daily workflow. A sharp, developed eye for typography, layout, and brand consistency. Clear visual communication skills and comfort discussing creative decisions with cross-functional partners. A collaborative, critical, low-ego approach with the ability to take and apply feedback intentionally. Agency or studio experience, particularly at a design-forward shop, is a plus. Genuine interest in luxury, culture, hospitality, or premium consumer brands. Genuine interest in product design and a willingness to work across both creative and product surfaces. Compensation: New York Pay Range $70,000 — $90,000 USD Workplace Philosophy at Dorsia At Dorsia, we believe that culture eats strategy. The best ideas in the world mean nothing without the right people around the table and the right chemistry between them. We are, unapologetically, a people-first organization. In-Person Matters We’re creating once-in-a-lifetime experiences for the most discerning audience in the world. That doesn’t happen over Zoom. It happens through collisions: a spark across a desk, a kitchen-side conversation that unlocks a partnership, the energy of ideas felt, not typed. That’s why in-office culture is non-negotiable at Dorsia. Who We Hire We don’t subscribe to check-the-box hiring. We hire for merit and mindset, which naturally creates a team with varied backgrounds. What unites us isn’t demographics, it’s a shared vision: to build the social operating system for the cultural vanguard. Lifestyle Hours We’re not a 9-to-5 company. Our lifestyle mirrors our members. Early flights, after-work events, and late-night sprints when the work demands it. But we love what we do, and we definitely love a good party. High Performance Culture Working at Dorsia isn’t for everyone—and that’s the point. Our culture is designed for builders, not passengers. We move fast, set ambitious standards, and expect people to rise to them. If you have the talent and the drive, this will be a ride to remember. A Final Word We’re building something special. It will take long hours and relentless effort. It’s not for everyone. For those with the metabolism, you’ll create something that changes how culture is lived. And that’s the kind of work worth your life’s energy.
