Job description

Aera Technology is a pioneer in the growing category of Decision Intelligence Platforms and a Leader in the Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for 2026 – the technology to digitize, augment, and automate decision-making processes with AI and machine learning. Through our AI decision automation platform, Aera Decision Cloud™, we are helping the best-known brands in the world make smarter, faster decisions. Privately-held and VC-funded, we have a global team of over 400 Aeranauts – and we’re growing. We deliver Decision Intelligence innovation and services that enable enterprises to automate and scale decision making with accuracy and speed. We continue to be the trusted choice of market leaders for our proven ability to generate value and unlock opportunities that were previously unattainable. This role requires strong collaboration with sales leadership to qualify opportunities, identify decision drivers, and position Aera’s Decision Intelligence platform as a transformative capability rather than a point solution. In partnership with Sales, you will lead the technical narrative of the deal, translating customer challenges into a compelling future-state powered by Aera. Through discovery, workshops, demos, and proof-of-value engagements, you will guide customers through a structured decision journey that builds confidence in both the platform and the business outcomes it enables. The most successful Solution Engineers operate as trusted advisors to customers and trusted partners to Sales, combining technical expertise with commercial awareness to accelerate deal momentum and maximize win probability. The ideal candidate will be based in the San Francisco Bay Area, and be able to be in the Mountain View or San Francisco office on occasion. Heavy travel required (40%). Contribute to proposal development, RFx responses, and solution documentation in collaboration with sales and delivery teams. Collaborate closely with Delivery and Customer Success teams to define and present compelling solution deployment roadmaps.
