About Hapi
Hapi is hospitality's connectivity partner, dedicated to simplifying the complex hospitality technology landscape by connecting hoteliers and solution providers at scale. Hapi removes long-standing data barriers, enabling hotels, hotel companies, and technology providers to access and utilize data in real time — empowering the creation of personalized guest experiences that drive business success. Hapi serves 15,000 hotels globally, including IHG Hotels & Resorts, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, Sonesta, Rosewood.
The Role
Hapi sells into a knowable universe: a few hundred hotel groups and a few dozen technology providers. ABM, events, pipeline attribution, and product launch support are the fundamentals of this job. HITEC, other key industry events, and Hapi's proprietary events are important points in our sales cycle and where many of our most valuable customer and prospect conversations happen. The opportunity is to make this proven motion significantly more effective — using AI and modern tooling as genuine force multipliers for a lean, three-person team, while continuously testing and improving how we reach, engage, and convert our market.
You will own the marketing budget, manage two direct reports (Marketing Senior Specialist and Graphic Designer), and maintain strong relationships with our PR and web agency partners.
What You'll Be Accountable For
Pipeline from Marketing Own top-of-funnel conversion and pipeline generation. Campaigns must be attributable to revenue, not just activity.
ABM & Demand Generation Design and run ABM programs for a defined, finite universe of accounts — enterprise hotel groups, brands, and technology providers. Partner closely with Sales to define priority accounts, buying committees, engagement signals, and coordinated account plays. The goal is not to rebuild a campaign each cycle; it's to build a system that learns and improves with each touch. That means using AI to automate research, personalize outreach, score engagement, and surface the next best action — so your team is iterating on what's working, not starting from scratch every quarter. Optimize for accounts that convert, not impressions.
AI-Search & Retrieval Visibility Hapi needs to show up inside the models and search interfaces that buyers now use to build shortlists. Own Hapi's discoverability in AI-generated search results (GEO), not just traditional SEO. This is a core responsibility, not a stretch goal.
Brand & Market Position Sharpen Hapi's positioning against a competitive hospitality-tech landscape. Own voice, visual identity, and narrative consistency. Translate complex data and connectivity concepts into messaging that resonates with hotel IT, loyalty, and marketing buyers.
Content Velocity Build a content operation where taste and distribution are the constraints — not production capacity. Each piece of content should build on what came before: reinforcing a narrative, extending a campaign, feeding a new channel. Use AI to accelerate drafting, repurposing, and personalization so the team is spending its time on judgment and distribution, not production. Own the strategy and the output.
PR Management Serve as Hapi's primary relationship owner with our PR agency. Set the communications strategy, define deliverables, and hold the agency accountable to share-of-pipeline outcomes — not coverage volume alone.
Event Strategy & Execution Own strategy and execution for HITEC, key industry conferences, and Hapi's proprietary events. Events are where our pipeline moves.
Partner & Channel Marketplace Own strategy for Hapi's B2B SaaS provider and technology marketplaces — positioning Hapi for inbound discovery and pipeline generation through channel partnerships.
Product Marketing & Go-to-Market Partner with Product, Sales and Customer teams on product positioning, launches, sales enablement and go-to-market strategy. Translate technical capabilities into clear business value for hotel companies and technology partners.
What We're Looking For
Every candidate in 2026 will claim AI fluency. We're not asking if you use AI — we're asking you to explain a workflow you rebuilt: what it was before, what it is now, and what you shut down as a result.
Must-Haves
• Director-level marketing leadership in B2B SaaS or technology, ideally within an enterprise or complex-sales environment.
• Experience owning a marketing budget and making investment/trade-off decisions based on business impact.
• Demand generation and ABM ownership with revenue attribution — not just campaign management
• A concrete track record of building workflows with AI tools, with before/after metrics to show for it
• Experience managing agency relationships as primary owner
• Ability to own event strategy and execution — HITEC or comparable B2B industry events
• Experience managing content strategy
• Remote team management experience and strong cross-functional communication
Nice-to-Haves
• Hospitality industry experience — Hapi's product is deeply industry-specific, and fluency in how hotels and hotel brands evaluate, buy, and implement technology meaningfully shortens the ramp
• Experience in data, integration, or API connectivity products
• Exposure to EU or APAC marketing expansion
• Experience guiding a marketing function through a strategic growth milestone
• Strong writer who works across technical and commercial audiences
The Team
Two direct reports: Marketing Senior Specialist and Graphic Designer. You'll also manage the day-to-day relationship with our PR and web agency partners. This is intentionally a lean team (no planned expansion through 2027), so the successful leader will be both strategic and hands-on, using agencies, technology and AI to extend the team's capacity.
Compensation
• Competitive base salary + performance bonus tied to pipeline outcomes
• Remote-first with periodic team gatherings and industry events
• Full benefits package
Hapi is an equal opportunity employer.
