Job description

ABOUT CODES HEALTH Codes Health is building the modern platform for medical record retrieval. Record requests today move through fax machines, phone trees, and manual follow-up, a process that can take weeks and routinely stalls the legal and clinical decisions that depend on it. We use AI in conjunction with human review to pull decision-ready records in a fraction of the time, with a level of accuracy legacy vendors can't match. We just turned two, doubling order volume month over month, and on a clear path to category leadership. We're well-funded (post Series A) and building toward 100x our current scale. Our mission is to fully automate record retrieval. Getting there takes sharp engineering and relentless execution, in equal measure. ABOUT THE ROLE This is one of the best entry points into tech sales you'll find. Codes Health is growing fast. We've doubled our sales team since January. As an SDR, you'll be on the front line of that growth: the first Codes Health voice most prospects hear, and the person responsible for turning cold outreach into real conversations for our Account Executives. You won't be making calls into a void. You're selling into a category we're already winning. This is a product that saves law firms and healthcare providers weeks of waiting, with real urgency behind every conversation. Know that you are selling an outcome. You'll learn how to research accounts, craft messaging that lands, run outbound sequences, and qualify opportunities with a disciplined approach and uncompromising rigor. You'll see the direct impact of your work within your first few months, not your first few years. This role is built as a launchpad. Our strongest SDRs move into Account Executive and sales leadership roles as we scale. If you're hungry, coachable, and want a front-row seat to what building a category-defining company actually looks like, this is it. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Prospect and research enterprise target accounts across personal injury law, identifying the right people to talk to. - Run outbound outreach to generate qualified meetings for our Account Executive team: calls, email, LinkedIn, and creative channels. - Qualify inbound interest, quickly separating real opportunities from noise so AEs spend their time in the right conversations. - Learn and help refine our messaging and playbook as we scale from a handful of reps to a full sales organization. - Work closely with Account Executives and the VP of Sales to understand what makes a great opportunity, and build toward owning full-cycle deals yourself. Your goal is to book high-intent, qualified demos for AEs. - Represent Codes Health with energy and professionalism in every interaction. You're often the first impression a prospect has of the company. - Work from our Dumbo headquarters five days a week, with regular travel for client meetings and conferences (50% in the field). - Understand that we are selling an outcome, not a service. WHO YOU ARE - Hungry to build a career in sales and excited about joining a high-growth startup at an early stage. - A strong communicator, outgoing, confident on the phone, sharp in writing, and comfortable initiating conversations with strangers. - Coachable and resilient. You take feedback well, iterate fast, and don't get rattled by a string of "nos" on the way to a "yes." - Organized and self-motivated. You can manage a high volume of outreach without letting things fall through the cracks. - In-person oriented. You want to learn in a room full of people who are further along than you. - 2+ years of SDR experience selling to operational and financial decision-makers (Ops, Finance, COO/CFO). - NYC preferred. Open to exceptional remote candidates. WHY JOIN CODES HEALTH This is a rare shot at getting in early. We're two years old, growing fast, and building the category we operate in. And, we're doing it with a team small enough that your work is visible from day one. You won't be an anonymous name on a dashboard; you'll be one of the people who helped shape Codes Health's sales engine during its formative stages. The runway here is real. We're investing in our SDRs as future AEs and future sales leaders. You'll get direct mentorship from experienced sellers and our VP of Sales, hands-on training in modern sales tools and technique, and a clear, fast path to more ownership as you prove yourself. The work matters. Every meeting you book moves a law firm closer to resolving a case or a healthcare provider closer to delivering care faster. If you want to learn sales at a company that's actually growing, surrounded by people who will push you to get better fast, this is the role. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS - Base salary: $80,000–$90,000, commensurate with experience. - On-target earnings: $135,000–$145,000 total compensation, including commission tied to meetings booked and pipeline generated. - Meaningful early-stage equity. - Unlimited PTO. - Health benefits and a setup built around doing your best work. - A defined path to promotion into Account Executive and beyond. Actual base pay is based on experience, skills, and qualifications and may vary from the range listed above, consistent with New York pay transparency requirements.
