Job description

The brands on your kitchen shelf are run by people doing extraordinary work that nobody sees. We're building the platform they run on, and a brand they'll be proud to be part of. Confido is the AI operating system that runs cash application, deductions, trade and planning in one place for CPG brands. That means Finance, Sales, and Ops finally work on the same number. We’re trusted by 250+ brands managing $30B+ in revenue, including Daisy, OLIPOP, Simple Mills, Idahoan, and more. We've achieved best-in-class growth and recently raised a $55M Series B led by Insight Partners to accelerate our momentum. If you want your work on shelves everywhere — and outsized ownership while you build — we'd love to meet you. THE ROLE We're building the operating system for CPG brands, covering demand planning, finance, accounting, and sales in one platform. Design here means owning real surface area across a complex, interconnected product, not shipping buttons in isolation. We're a small team that moves fast, communicates directly, and sweats the details. You'll work closely with product and engineering to define not just what things look like, but how the whole experience fits together. What you'll do - Shape the strategic direction of product and feature roadmaps, not just execute them - Build working prototypes early, put them in front of real customers, and use what you learn to reshape the feature before it's fully built outearly, put them in front of real customers, and use what you learn to reshape the feature before it's fully built out - Partner tightly with engineering and product to define, prototype, and ship—often all in the same week - Sweat the details, the hundreds of small decisions that make a complex operator tool feel effortless instead of overwhelming - Take validated patterns and refine them directly in code, contributing back into the design system - Find ways to ship great work under real constraints. Scrappily, not sloppily What you bring - 3–5 years of experience across both design and front-end engineering, ideally in B2B SaaS, enterprise tools, or complex workflow products - A portfolio that demonstrates strong product thinking, polished craft, and the ability to make hard problems feel simple - Track record of seeing large, ambiguous projects through from zero to shipped - Active use of tools like Cursor and Claude Code, with clear opinions on how to get high-quality output from them - A strong eye for design, with deep care for layout, motion, affordances, and visual polish - Direct communication style; you influence through the quality of your thinking, not org chart position You'll stand out if you - Ship opinionated work and defend it with taste and data - Active, non-gimmicky use of AI tools in your day-to-day workflow - Interest in defining interaction patterns for how people work alongside AI agents - Treat ambiguity as an invitation, not a blocker - Stay current on AI research and tools, shown in your design process - Designed for financial, enterprise, or other domains that require complex systems thinking previously - Have experience in high-growth startups Learn more about Design at Confido here wooded-maxilla-fc0.notion.site 🌴 PERKS + BENEFITS - Equity — own a meaningful piece of the company you’re helping build - Fully paid health coverage through Aetna — we cover 100% of employee premiums - Top-tier dental and vision coverage through Guardian - Carrot Fertility Pro — comprehensive fertility and family-forming support - 12 weeks of paid parental leave - Unlimited PTO — plus regular 4-day holiday weekends we actually take - 401(k) through Vestwell - Paid relocation support — we’ll help you make the move to NYC - Fully equipped workspace from day one — laptop, monitor, keyboard, and a $200 stipend to personalize your setup - Team perks — catered Friday lunches, team dinners, and unlimited coffee + snacks featuring products from the brands we work with Confido provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
