About Super.com super.com
We started Super.com to help maximize lives, both for our customers and for our team, so that more people can experience all that life has to offer. For our employees, Super.com is more than just a job. It’s a place to grow, keep learning, and make work that has a visible impact.
We’re a fast-moving, high-growth company that cares deeply about our people and takes career progression seriously. In Engineering, that means meaningful ownership, real opportunities to develop, and the chance to work in an environment at the front of the AI-first shift. Our engineers use AI tools every day across the stack, and the company is fully invested in the support, tooling, and working model needed to go further. For engineers who are excited by learning fast and building in modern ways, this is the kind of environment that grows with you.
About this role
As a Full-Stack Engineer, you will be a key technical contributor on one of our teams, building across both frontend and backend web development. You will help deliver features for our fintech, travel, and/or SuperApp products, while also contributing to the services and frameworks that power those experiences. You will primarily work with React on the frontend and Python and Node.js microservices on the backend, alongside technologies such as GitLab, AWS, Postgres, Redis, Datadog, Amplitude, and Snowflake.
You will operate in an AI-forward engineering environment where AI is a core part of how we design, build, and iterate on software. Engineers are expected to actively leverage AI in their development workflow and apply strong judgment when guiding, validating, and refining AI-assisted solutions.
This role reports to an Engineering Manager, Senior Manager, or Director. From the Intermediate Software Engineer level, there is opportunity to grow along the IC path into Senior and Staff Software Engineer roles, or toward Engineering Management.
What you’ll be working on:
- Ship projects end-to-end in a fast-paced, iterative, AI-forward environment, using AI tools to accelerate development, debugging, and iteration while maintaining ownership of the solution
- Build and operate features and services across the stack, including deployment, monitoring, debugging, testing, and working with supporting data stores such as caches and databases
- Partner on cross-functional initiatives, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and contribute to shaping the roadmap for future team projects
- Work in a data-driven way and stay close to the customer, using experiments and measurement to inform what we build and improve
- See the direct impact of your work on the business and user experience in a company where engineering execution meaningfully moves key outcomes
- Share responsibility for the operational health of production services, including participation in an on-call rotation.
Note: On-call is a part of this role. Rotations are weekly and compensated for each rotation per the company’s on-call compensation policy. Participation may be voluntary or required depending on team and staffing needs.
Who we’re looking for:
- 3+ years of professional software development experience, including experience with Python or Node.js on the backend and a modern frontend JavaScript framework such as React, Vue, or Angular
- Experience building web services and working with modern web technologies
- Actively using AI in your development workflow today, including for coding, debugging, and problem-solving, and can validate and iterate on AI-generated output with sound engineering judgment
- Comfortable contributing across both backend and frontend parts of the stack, with the balance influenced by business needs and individual strengths or interests
- Interested in building products in a startup environment, moving quickly, using data to inform decisions, wearing multiple hats, and continuously learning
- Strong communicator who works effectively on an agile team and contributes to standups, sprint ceremonies, quarterly planning, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrates ownership, curiosity, and follow-through, with the ability to make steady contributions and help drive work to completion
Bonus points for:
- Experience working across a broad modern stack, including technologies such as React, Python, Node.js, GitLab, AWS, Docker, Postgres, Redis, Datadog, Amplitude, and Snowflake
- Strength in SQL and analytics, with familiarity in DevOps concepts and practices
- Experience operating in a startup environment
- Experience working closely with business stakeholders
- Experience writing end-to-end or browser-based tests
- Experience helping drive AI adoption beyond personal use, including improvements to team workflows, developer productivity, or product capabilities
Our Technology:
- Our product platform is built on a modern microservices architecture using Node.js and Python services with a React frontend.
- We use Postgres for primary storage, Redis for caching, and Snowflake for our data warehouse.
- Our infrastructure runs on AWS, leveraging technologies such as Kubernetes and RDS, with GitLab supporting version control and CI/CD.
- We invest heavily in reliability and observability using Datadog for monitoring and automated alerting, and use Amplitude for client-side analytics and experimentation.
- Our frontend stack includes Material-UI alongside an internal component library, with Figma supporting design collaboration.
- Our platform integrates with a variety of third-party services to support compliance, risk management, and security requirements.
- As an AI-First engineering organization, we also leverage modern AI development workflows using tools such as Cursor, Claude, and internally built AI agents to accelerate implementation and iteration across our codebases.
