Key Responsibilities: • Create comprehensive Drill Bit Design and manufacturing packages using 3-D modelling and data management systems. • Collaborate with Product Line Management, Operations, Manufacturing, and Technology groups to enhance product performance. • Conduct all activities in compliance with HSE, Quality, Legal, and Cultural standards. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. • Proficiency in 3D CAD systems, particularly Siemens NX. • Familiarity with product data management systems, such as Teamcenter PLM. • Experience with simulation software for Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). Preferences: • Experience with Drill Bits, including PDC, Tricone, or Kymera. • Ability to select engineering techniques and utilize analysis tools to solve problems and make sound design recommendations. • Familiarity with mechanical component designs and applied methods. • Commitment to the consistent use of product design standards.
