Position Overview: Vertisystem, Inc.is seeking a qualified professional to fill the position of DevOps Engineer based in Fremont, California. Responsibilities include: Design and develop solutions for complex applications, system administration, and network issues, and perform systems management and integration tasks. Direct the analysis, development, and operation of complete computer systems to oversee the installation of operating systems, network application software, and computer or network hardware. Prepare detailed documentation of design specifications, installation instructions, and related system information to facilitate security analysis of developed or packaged software components. Participate in on-call rotations, incident response, and root cause analysis for production issues to improve platform resilience. Manage multiple systems and ensure secure, scalable, and stable environments for application deployment. Automate routine operational tasks using scripting languages to improve developer productivity and reduce human error. Maintain and monitor logging, metrics, and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve system issues. Implement disaster recovery plans, backup strategies, and high availability configurations for critical services and applications. Collaborate with developers, QA, and security teams to ensure smooth and secure deployments, including blue-green, rolling, and canary release strategies.
