Job description

eigenblue – We're building the future of engineering. A future where engineers build intelligent systems that solve complex problems, and work alongside those systems to bring their solutions into the real world. We solve complex, multidisciplinary engineering problems by combining deep human expertise with AI systems we build ourselves. Our proprietary AI models generate system architectures across software, electronics, mechanics, and applied physics - and our engineers stay in the loop, not as supervisors but as the decisive factor to bring those architectures into the real world. As (Senior) Fullstack Developer (m/f/d) you will be at the forefront of building our AI product from the ground up. You'll develop robust, scalable full-stack solutions that power physical R&D automation, working directly with our founding team to shape the future of an AI-driven multidisciplinary system design. Your Role • Design, implement, and deploy complex, production-ready web applications and digital solutions at the forefront of our AI product, directly contributing to its architecture and technical foundation • Build and maintain scalable full-stack features end-to-end - spanning frontend (React, Vue) and backend (Node.js, Python) - and integrate AI capabilities into user-facing product surfaces • Define the tech stack and system architecture, implementing scalable API microservices with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines • Work closely with AI Engineers, Product Managers, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-quality software that meets both technical and product requirements • Mentor engineers across the team, drive engineering best practices, and continuously improve our software infrastructure by introducing new tools, frameworks, and learnings Your Profile • University degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, with 3+ years of hands-on experience in agile software development • Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript with modern frameworks (React, Vue, Node.js); solid experience with Python and backend frameworks like Django or FastAPI • Proven experience with production deployments and CI/CD pipelines on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), including containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), scalable API design, and application security • Solid grasp of engineering practices such as code refactoring, design patterns, design-driven development, and building highly scalable applications; experience with GraphQL or graph databases (e.g. Neo4j) is a plus • Comfortable with ambiguity and rapid change in early-stage product development; excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams Your Package • Salary Package based on your previous experience and qualifications, reviewed annually as part of our Performance and Progression process, along with an individual learning and development budget to support your growth • Work hands-on with the newest technologies from day one, while shaping the future of engineering and gaining insights across a broad range of industries • Hybrid work setup giving you the flexibility to balance focus time with staying close to your clients and colleagues, along with your choice of OS • Everyday perks including subsidized lunch through our Foodji • Access to mobility benefits such as the Deutschlandticket and JobRad • Access to our Become1 benefits card and health benefits such as Wellpass and OpenUp • Regular team and company events: Our Christmas party, eigendays, and quarterly team buildings, plus an annual company offsite eigenblue is colorful - We embrace and value equal opportunities, inclusion, and diversity.
