ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) who wants to build a career in enterprise software sales.
This isn't a traditional BDR role focused only on prospecting and booking meetings. You'll qualify inbound opportunities, prospect into target accounts, and own smaller deals from initial conversation through close. You'll also work alongside our Account Executives on larger enterprise opportunities.
You'll get hands-on experience with discovery, product demos, deal management, and closing while learning how complex enterprise sales works.
For someone who wants to become an Account Executive, this role is designed to give you that opportunity.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Qualify inbound leads and run initial discovery calls.
- Prospect into target accounts and identify new opportunities.
- Own and close smaller commercial opportunities from initial conversation through contract signature.
- Partner with Account Executives to uncover new buying groups and expand relationships within enterprise accounts.
- Conduct product demonstrations for qualified prospects.
- Build relationships with technical and business stakeholders.
- Work with Sales Engineering to coordinate evaluations and proof-of-concepts.
- Maintain accurate pipeline and activity in HubSpot.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to improve how we find, engage, and convert customers.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 1-3 years of experience in BDR, SDR, or another early-career SaaS sales role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable prospecting and starting conversations with new accounts.
- Curious, coachable, and competitive.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable learning technical products and speaking with software developers.
- Interested in developing the skills required to become a closing Account Executive.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-moving startup environment.
BONUS POINTS
- Experience selling developer tools, infrastructure, or technical software.
- Experience working with enterprise customers.
- Experience running discovery calls, demos, or smaller sales opportunities.
- Familiarity with APIs, Git, or modern software development workflows.
WHY JOIN BRUNO?
- A BDR role with real closing experience, not just meeting generation.
- A clear path toward becoming an Account Executive.
- Work alongside experienced enterprise sellers on opportunities with some of the largest companies in the world.
- Learn the full sales cycle, from prospecting and discovery through demos, negotiation, and procurement.
- Join a fast-growing, well-funded company with a product developers genuinely love.
- Competitive salary, commission plan, equity, and benefits.
