You'll spend your time creating content at job sites, filming our technicians, attending community events, partnering with local businesses, brainstorming creative campaigns, and turning everyday plumbing into engaging content people actually want to watch. If you're looking for an internship where your ideas matter, you'll fit right in. For the right person, this internship has the potential to grow into a full-time career. What You'll Do Own Our Social Media Help plan, create, and manage content across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other social media platforms. We want someone who constantly asks: "How can we make this more interesting?" "How can we make people stop scrolling?" "How can we become the plumbing company everyone knows?" If you're always thinking creatively, you'll thrive here. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who: Loves creating social media content. Has excellent photography and videography skills. Is creative, outgoing, and comfortable meeting new people. Can manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Is organized enough to maintain a consistent posting schedule. Takes initiative and doesn't wait to be told what to do. Wants to help build something, not just maintain it. Experience with CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar editing software. Photography and videography experience. Graphic design experience using Canva. Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related coursework is a plus but not required. Currently enrolled in a college, university, or technical program, or a recent graduate. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout the Knoxville area for content creation and community events. Why Join The Plumbing Authority? This is more than an internship. You'll have the opportunity to build your portfolio, create content viewed by thousands of people, develop real marketing experience, work directly with leadership, and make a measurable impact on a growing local business. Your ideas won't get buried in meetings—they'll get tested. If you're someone who wants creative freedom, hands-on experience, and the opportunity to grow into a full-time role, we'd love to hear from you. Compensation Compensation is based on experience, skills, and portfolio quality. Approximately 15–20 hours per week with a flexible hybrid schedule. How to Apply: Please submit: Resume Portfolio or work samples Links to social media accounts, pages, or campaigns you've managed (if applicable) Examples of videos you've filmed and edited A brief explanation of your role in each project Applications without portfolio links or content samples will not be considered.
