Job description

Tatari is on a mission to revolutionize TV advertising. Founded in 2016 to help transform the antiquated world of TV advertising through the intelligent application of AI and machine learning, Tatari helps some of the world’s fastest growing brands including Chime, Calm, Tecovas, Manscaped, Saatva, and Liquid I.V ., reach their customers using linear and streaming TV ads. Our platform combines sophisticated media buying with proprietary analytics to turn TV advertising into an automated, digital-like experience, enabling businesses of any size to advertise on TV. That approach has earned Tatari broad industry recognition, including being named Best CTV AdTech Platform in the 8th annual MarTech Breakthrough Awards , as well as honors from Digiday ( Best Connected TV Platform) , AdExchanger ( Most Innovative TV Advertising Technology ), and Business Insider ( Hottest AdTech Companies) . Tatari has also been recognized as the Best Place to Work by Inc. Magazine . Backed by an executive team of former founders and senior leaders from companies including Shazam, TrueCar, AdapTV, LiveRail, Amazon, Google, Meta, Microsoft, and Yahoo, Tatari continues to scale rapidly as TV advertising enters its next major era. We are looking for a Principal Product Managers in the Reporting and Measurement pillar. As a Principal Product Manager, you will work closely with design, engineering, and data science teams to bring Tatari’s vision to life. You will partner with senior members on the team to define and own the roadmap within the “Intuitive Reporting” Team. Measurement is at the heart of Tatari’s business and this team’s mission is to leverage new data sources that prove the full and true value of TV campaigns (beyond just website conversions). You will need to understand the changing business models of our customers and how we can best leverage data and analytics to drive the right business outcomes for them. Your ability to understand the needs of our marketer users and how to prioritize our engineering efforts to meet those needs will determine success in this role. Intuitive Reporting: This team follows the mission embedded in its name. Reporting on TV performance needs to intuitively make sense to the marketers we serve. This role in particular will be aligned with the needs of our brands who are not satisfied with our typical CPA, ROAS, and other conversion metrics, but instead need brand metrics, audience metrics, upper funnel analytics, and custom DS support. This is a data heavy role and will require expertise in data pipelines, data science driven analytics, and data visualization and storytelling. The ideal candidate needs to be able to discuss novel DS techniques for handling this big data problem as well as design choices for an intuitive presentation of the calculations. Responsibilities: Under the guidance of other senior members on the team, manage the entire product life cycle from ideation to prototyping, testing, design, launch, and post launch analytics. Collaborate with various stakeholders within the company: engineering, media-buying, data science, sales, marketing and client management. Help define the company’s product roadmap, both short and long term. Ability to translate the company vision into specific product solutions. Provide thought leadership, management, and execution in the delivery of data initiatives aimed at driving extraordinary results for TV advertisers. Understand our customers and their requirements. Synthesize compelling product features for proving the full impact of their TV marketing campaigns. Balance between what is possible today, and what we should plan for tomorrow. Keep a finger on the pulse of the industry and our competition, and position Tatari’s products accordingly. Qualifications: 6+ years of product management experience, with particular emphasis in customer-facing data & analytics products. Bonus for advertising or marketing technology. Proven ability to work in a high-ambiguity environment. A passion for delivering features that leverage data, analytics, and ML/GenAI to elegantly solve customer problems. Strong analytics sense with the ability to extract meaningful signals from large amounts of data. Strong ability in building and telling stories through data visualization. Experience and strength in partnering closely with Design to address problems and varying customer needs through effective user research and product design. Strong communicator with excellent people skills to interact with various teams inside the company, clients, and vendors. Including a demonstrable ability to present a case for your roadmap and initiatives to senior leadership in a clear and compelling manner that inspires investment. Demonstrated success developing high-leverage features that delight customers, are hard to copy, and grow the business. The usual product management skills: customer-needs obsessed, Agile-fluent, black-belt user story and solution creation, strong written & verbal communicator with excellent people skills, highly organized and detail-oriented, passionate about solving customer problems. Hands-on experience specifying and shipping products built on ETL and calculation pipelines. You can partner with engineering and DS on pipeline design, data modeling, and the tradeoffs between batch vs. real-time computation, and you're comfortable reasoning about how a metric is computed end-to-end, not just what it shows. Familiarity with audience and reach measurement e.g., Nielsen ONE, cross-platform reach/frequency, deduplicated audience metrics, incremental reach, or comparable currency/panel-based measurement. Understanding of TV/advertising measurement beyond direct-response (CPA/ROAS): brand lift, upper-funnel, and audience-based metrics, including how they're modeled and where their limitations lie. Benefits Total compensation ($175,000 - $225,000) + Equity Health insurance coverage for you and your dependents 401K, FSA, and commuter benefits $150 monthly spending account $1,000 annual continued education benefit $500 Newbie Productivity Perk Unlimited PTO and sick days Monthly Company Wellness Day Off Snacks, drinks, and catered lunches at the office Team building events Hybrid RTO of 2 days per week in office At Tatari, we believe in the importance of cultivating teams with diverse backgrounds and offering equal opportunities to all. We strive to create a welcoming, inclusive environment where every team member feels valued and diversity is celebrated. #LI-HYBRID
