Senior Sales Development Representative at Veriforce

Job description

At Veriforce, we help companies in high-risk industries keep their people, worksites, and supply chains safe and compliant. As a global leader in contractor and supply chain risk management, our SaaS platform simplifies contractor onboarding, credentialing, and compliance while providing powerful analytics and insights. Beyond software, we offer expert support, training, and consulting so our clients can operate with confidence. Together, we’re making workplaces safer every day. We are seeking a Senior Sales Development Representative to play a pivotal role in building and accelerating Veriforce's pipeline growth. This is a high-impact individual contributor role for an experienced outbound professional who thrives on creating opportunities, engaging prospects, and driving meaningful sales conversations. You'll own the front end of the sales process, identifying and engaging target accounts, building relationships with stakeholders across HSE, Procurement, and Operations, and creating qualified opportunities for the Sales team. This is an opportunity to sell solutions that help organizations operating in high-hazard industries improve contractor management, safety, and compliance outcomes. What that means day-to-day: • Drive proactive outbound prospecting through confident cold calling and highly personalized multi-touch outreach. • Research, segment, prioritize, and develop target accounts and territories. • Engage HSE, Procurement, and Operations stakeholders, qualify interest, and book discovery calls. • Identify ideal customer profiles and personas and use relevant signals to tailor messaging. • Maintain clean, accurate, and current records in Salesforce and ensure consistent follow-up. • Consistently deliver well-qualified, well-documented discovery calls to the Sales team. • Comfortably use AI tools to enhance prospecting and outreach. • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales on campaigns, events, account follow-up, and pipeline-building activities. • Contribute practical ideas that improve team messaging, outreach cadences, call approaches, and processes. What you’ll need to be successful: • Proven quota-carrying SDR, BDR, or closely related sales experience, with clear evidence of personal attainment and results. • B2B SaaS sales experience. • Demonstrated outbound experience, including cold calling, territory prioritization, multi-touch outreach, and qualification. • Experience with a modern sales engagement and prospecting stack (e.g., Salesforce, Salesloft, Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, or equivalents), including AI-assisted prospecting tools. • Ability to work independently, create a productive daily structure, protect prospecting time, and follow through. • Clear and concise communication, credible customer engagement, and the ability to personalize outreach for different personas. • Self-motivation, persistence, accountability, discipline, curiosity, and a healthy competitive drive. • Coach-ability and the ability to apply feedback to improve performance. • Preferred experience selling into regulated, industrial, energy, utility, construction, safety, or compliance environments. What you’ll get in return: Here are just a few of the great reasons to join our team! • Work with a global team! We have colleagues and customers across North America and around the world. • Veriforce is a great place to work! Our leaders and team members consistently cite our culture as one of the top reasons it’s a great place to build a career. • Veriforce provides • 100% employer-paid medical and dental insurance for employees • Monthly contributions to Health Savings Accounts • A 401(k) match that is immediately fully vested • Outstanding time off benefits • Paid time off for volunteer activities • Remote work opportunities • Embracing AI at Veriforce As part of our commitment to innovation and continuous improvement, we're actively embedding AI tools and ways of working across the business. We encourage all employees to explore how AI can enhance productivity, improve decision-making, streamline processes, and create value for our customers. The effective adoption and use of AI will form part of role expectations and will be considered as part of regular objective reviews and performance conversations. We're looking for individuals who are curious, adaptable, and excited about leveraging technology to work smarter and drive better outcomes. All job offers will be contingent on the successful completion of a background check.
