Senior Data Engineer – Snowflake Contract: 6–9 Months Location- Plano, TX We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with strong Snowflake expertise to design, build, optimize, and support enterprise cloud data pipelines and data products. Key Responsibilities: • Develop complex batch, incremental, and near-real-time data pipelines using Snowflake . • Build scalable ETL/ELT frameworks using SQL, Python, Snowpark, Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, and Dynamic Tables . • Optimize Snowflake performance, warehouse usage, clustering, and compute costs. • Develop data models, data quality checks, monitoring, error handling, and recovery processes. • Implement CI/CD, testing, source control, security, governance, and RBAC best practices. • Collaborate with architects, data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders. • Explore Snowflake Cortex/AI capabilities and support AI/ML data use cases. Required Qualifications: • 8+ years of enterprise cloud data engineering experience. • 5+ years of hands-on Snowflake experience. • Strong SQL and Python development skills. • Experience with modern data engineering, ETL/ELT, orchestration, CI/CD, and data modeling. • Strong knowledge of Snowflake security, governance, performance, and cost optimization. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience. Preferred: • SnowPro Core or Advanced certification. • Healthcare, biotech, pharmaceutical, or life sciences experience. • Snowflake Cortex, AI/ML, MLOps, or feature pipeline experience.
