Job description

A state government agency is seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to join its Data Management Program. You will work on a small, collaborative agile team, gathering reporting and data warehouse requirements, building source-to-target mappings, and writing complex SQL. • Act as liaison between business and technical staff to design efficient data integration processes • Create and maintain source-to-target (S2T) mapping documentation • Develop complex SQL for analysis and data validation • Gather requirements and write user stories for reporting and data warehouse initiatives • Translate business requirements into technical specifications • Perform root cause analysis and analyze complex datasets for patterns, trends and insights • Plan and execute testing, data reconciliation and user acceptance testing • Elicit and refine requirements for dashboards • Create system requirements, design specifications and user documentation • Conduct training sessions and workshops for end users
