Java Automation Software Engineer, Senior: • Minimum of seven years’ experience with Mobile Browser and Mobile Native Application Testing and use of Mobile Cloud Platform (i.e, SeeTest) • Proven use of 1 or more mobile development and emulator packages (Android SDK, iOS XCode, SWIFT, Calabash, Appium, GENYmotion) • Exposure to commercial mobile manual/automation test management packages (Perfecto, Experitest-SeeTest, MobileLabs, SauceLabs, etc) • Experience with Accessibility Testing (ADA Testing Web/Mobile Native App) • Exposure to web technologies (e.g. HTTP, XML, REST, HTML, etc.) • Manages the development Test Scenarios and execution of the scenarios across all Testing Phases (IST, Smoke, Functional, Integration, UAT, In-Sprint Automation, UAT, Regression Automation, Production) • Experience in implementing Continues Integration using Jenkins and continuous delivery CI/CD • Hands on experience in API testing using JMeter • Strong experience in leading Test Automation teams • Ability to work with a sense of urgency and attention to detail • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills and excellent analytical skills • Independent decision-making and good judgment • Strong time, interpersonal and people skills • Ability to operated comfortably in a multi-task / multi priority environment across a global team • Experience with client server environments • Proficient knowledge of the Microsoft Office products • Knowledge of Application Development Lifecycle and concepts • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience Develop services using agile software development methodology. Participate in daily meetings. Contribute towards the entire Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) of an upcoming project. Ensure that design is robust, extensible, and follows best practices. Develop Web, Batch & DB applications, including business and persistence layers of the application. Use Java programming language and Cassandra to code application functionality. Work with web development using Java/Micro Services/Cloud/NoSQL Database solutions platform and databases. Perform code reviews prior to implementation. Strong focus on time and resource management, decision-making, and parallel project deliveries. Knowledge of version and revision control practices and procedures. Validate deployed code to ensure that it works as expected. Work with OPS team to set up monitoring, and resolve production issues. Assist with troubleshooting, root cause analysis and ensure that software bugs are corrected in an expedient manner.
