Job description

Job Description About Berry Law Berry Law is on a mission to protect the constitutional rights of Americans. We are a veteran-led law firm with a warrior ethos that extends to how we support our team. We believe in excellence, leadership, and service — and we’re looking for someone who shares those values to join our team. Mission Write the content that defines the industry. Berry Law is seeking an exceptional journalist to serve as our Senior Content Creator—a trusted writer, researcher, strategist, and editor responsible for shaping the firm’s thought leadership across every major communication channel. This is not a traditional legal marketing position, nor is it a newsroom role. We are looking for someone who can transform complex legal and policy issues into authoritative, compelling content that educates Veterans, builds trust, strengthens Berry Law’s national reputation, and creates meaningful business impact. You’ll become the firm’s editorial authority—someone trusted to write with the rigor, judgment, and sophistication expected of an accomplished scholar and journalist while maintaining Berry Law’s voice, ethical standards, and commitment to excellence. If you’re the type of journalist who enjoys writing, teaching, researching, and influencing, and wants your work to make a real difference for those who served, this may be the ideal opportunity. What You’ll Do Lead Berry Law’s Editorial Strategy Conduct original research and reporting, and develop authoritative studies, reports, and white papers. Write thought leadership articles that establish Berry Law as a national authority in Veterans Disability and Personal Injury law. Develop editorial calendars aligned with firm priorities, legislative developments, and strategic initiatives. Monitor legal, legislative, and VA policy developments to identify the stories that matter most to Veterans. Own High-Value Content Creation Draft long-form website content, practice area pages, guides, and educational resources. Write executive thought leadership pieces, opinion articles, and media-ready content. Draft persuasive copy that allows Berry Law to capitalize quickly on breaking news and emerging media opportunities. Provide ongoing website news updates and timely commentary. Drive Multimedia Storytelling Develop podcast content plans, episode outlines, and interview preparation materials. Write video scripts, storyboards, and production briefs for educational and brand campaigns. Collaborate with the Producer to ensure every piece of content tells a compelling story. Elevate Every Communication Develop messaging for social media campaigns, email initiatives, public relations, and executive communications. Review and edit content to ensure accuracy, editorial excellence, and brand consistency. Serve as the firm’s final editorial resource for complex content. Protect Berry Law’s Reputation Partner with Berry Law attorneys to verify legal accuracy and compliance with attorney advertising rules. Ensure every published piece reflects Berry Law’s brand standards, ethical standards, and commitment to serving Veterans. Maintain exceptional attention to detail while simplifying complex legal concepts for everyday readers. Create content that earns trust, not clicks.
