Our work touches millions of customers every day, at truly global scale. About the Role We’re looking for a Full Stack Engineer who is passionate about building impactful solutions across the entire technology stack—from intuitive user experiences to scalable backend platforms. In this role, you ll spend approximately 70% of your time designing and developing applications and automation solutions that support Walmart Marketplace s Business, Product, Program, Engineering, and Operations teams. You ll leverage technologies such as Python, Java, React, and React Native to build tools that improve operational efficiency, enhance decision-making, and solve complex business challenges. This role goes beyond traditional software engineering. You ll have the opportunity to work on executive escalations and ambiguous business problems that require deep analysis, strong technical judgment, and end-to-end ownership. You ll play a key role in influencing architectural decisions, defining the long-term direction of our systems, and translating business needs into scalable technology solutions that deliver measurable impact for Walmart Marketplace. Partner with Business, Operations, Product, and Engineering teams to investigate high-priority marketplace issues and develop scalable solutions that improve seller and customer experiences. Investigate and resolve complex platform, operational, and customer-impacting issues with a focus on root-cause analysis and long-term remediation. Communicate clearly and proactively on progress, risks, blockers, and technical trade-offs with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Contribute to the reliability, scalability, and long-term architecture of our platforms through cross-team collaboration and technical leadership.
