Job Description Network Engineer Overview • The Network Engineer role offers an exciting opportunity to support cutting-edge technology within a dynamic financial services environment. • Collaborate with a highly skilled team to deliver superior user experiences through advanced voice and network systems. • Contribute to enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives, enhancing infrastructure and cloud technology layers. • Work on unified communications integration, including Microsoft Teams Calling and advanced routing designs. • Engage in trader voice systems management, including IPC Unigy turret systems and related technologies. • Support audiovisual systems deployment and lifecycle management across conference and event spaces. • Utilize scripting and automation tools to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency. • Interact with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of security, identity, and business applications. • This hybrid role includes working onsite three days per week in a collaborative environment. Network Engineer Key Responsibilities & Duties • Design and deploy Microsoft Teams Calling systems, including direct routing and compliance solutions. • Develop call quality dashboards, analytics, and KPIs for performance reporting. • Administer IPC Unigy turret systems, including provisioning and configuration. • Manage audiovisual systems integration with unified communications platforms. • Troubleshoot Tier 2/3 incidents and conduct root-cause analysis for AV systems. • Monitor and maintain network health, including routing, switching, and wireless protocols. • Collaborate with vendors and carriers for escalation and resolution of issues. • Utilize scripting tools such as PowerShell and Terraform for automation tasks. • Document technical processes and communicate effectively with stakeholders. Network Engineer Job Requirements • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a relevant field is required. • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in enterprise voice deployments. • Proficiency in routing and switching protocols, including BGP and VLANs. • Experience with wireless technologies, firewall concepts, and VPN solutions. • Skilled in packet analysis tools such as Wireshark and tcpdump. • Familiarity with scripting and automation tools like PowerShell and Ansible. • Strong end-user engagement and cross-functional collaboration abilities. • Knowledge of ITIL principles and experience using ServiceNow. • Ability to work onsite three days per week in a hybrid work arrangement. • ShareAustin: • • • • Related Jobs • Software Developer Permanent • New York • Information Technology • 100,000 - 130,000 • Annually Work in a hybrid environment with cutting-edge technologies and AI tools.
