Job description

Seed Health is a microbiome science company pioneering clinically validated innovations for gut and whole-body health. Our portfolio of gut-directed products is developed in collaboration with leading scientists and backed by human clinical research. We’re best known for DS-01® Daily Synbiotic—the #1 digestive health probiotic in the U.S.—trusted by millions of people for its benefits in and beyond the gut, including skin, immune, and heart health. We’ve since expanded our offerings to include PDS-08® for pediatric health, VS-01™ for vaginal health, and a new category of Co-Biotics for daily nutrition, energy, and sleep—each grounded in our commitment to scientific rigor, precision formulation, and impact across the body’s interconnected systems. Beyond the body, SeedLabs —our environmental research division—advances microbial solutions that restore biodiversity and support ecosystems affected by human activity. We’ve built a profitable DTC business with category-leading retention, grown revenue 5x in the last 36 months, and expanded our reach across new channels and markets. With a robust clinical pipeline and continued expansion into new areas of microbiome health, we’re building for scale—with integrity, care, and curiosity. Our work has been recognized by Fast Company (Most Innovative Companies, Brands That Matter, World Changing Ideas), TIME (Best Inventions), Forbes (America’s Best Startup Employers), and Inc. (Best in Business, Female Founder 100)—a reflection of the science behind our products and the stories we tell to bring them into the world. We’re a galaxy-class team of researchers, clinicians, designers, engineers, storytellers, and builders—each aligned in our belief in the transformative potential of the microbiome. If you’re a kindred dot-connector looking to shape the future of health, join us. seedhealth.com • seed.com • luca.bio About the Role Seed is seeking a Senior Product Manager (Member Product), reporting to the VP, Digital Product + Ecommerce, to own the end-to-end post-purchase member experience—from the moment a member converts through ongoing retention, cross-sell, and deepening engagement. As Seed expands into retail, Amazon, and new marketplaces, the member experience becomes the connective tissue across channels; this role defines what that experience should become and proves it in the market through rapid experimentation. What You’ll Do (Essential Functions) Own the end-to-end post-purchase member experience strategy, defining what Seed’s member journey should look and feel like, how it evolves, and what to build to make it real. Translate Seed’s science, brand, and retention goals into a clear product vision that earns sustained member engagement. Design and run short-cycle experiments that test strategic hypotheses about member behavior and generate real signal. Define the membership value architecture, grounded in what members want and what moves retention. Own the content delivery strategy that makes science education a retention driver, moving toward dynamic, personalized surfacing. Partner with Product Design to set the creative and strategic direction for member-facing experiences, including the member homepage and subscription management. Collaborate with Growth Product on the funnel-to-member handoff and cross-sell positioning within the member journey. Contribute to multi-category expansion by understanding how multi-product subscription behaviors develop and where the experience must evolve. Inform how Seed’s owned digital experience evolves alongside emerging agentic commerce channels. Define how Seed’s owned member experience works alongside retail, Amazon, and marketplace channels, giving customers who first find Seed elsewhere a reason to become direct members and keeping the experience consistent wherever members buy. Produce a data-grounded product roadmap informed by audience segmentation and multi-product cohort data. Present member experience strategy and experiment results to leadership. And other ad-hoc responsibilities and projects from time to time based on business needs. What Success Looks Like Within 6 months: a clear, defensible member experience strategy, and at least two experiments launched and generating real signal. Within 12 months: measurable improvement in member retention and multi-product adoption, driven by experience depth rather than discounting. Within 12 months: a recommendation on membership tier architecture backed by in-market data. Within 12 months: a content delivery system that has moved beyond static logic toward dynamic, personalized surfacing. Who You Are (Required) 7+ years of product management experience, with significant depth in post-purchase, member, subscriber, or retention-focused product work. Experience defining experience strategy from ambiguity—articulating what a product should become and building conviction around that vision. A track record of leading cross-functional teams (design, engineering, brand, marketing) by setting strategic direction, not only managing delivery. Product experience in DTC ecommerce, including subscription or membership businesses at meaningful scale, and an understanding of retention as an experience problem. Analytical fluency, including cohort analysis, LTV modeling, and experiment design. Experience with experimentation-driven product development: rapid prototyping, hypothesis-driven testing, and short-cycle iteration. Experience writing product strategy documents, PRDs, and experiment briefs, and proficiency with product analytics tools. Clear, structured communication that makes complex strategy understandable to senior stakeholders and cross-functional partners. Nice to Have (Preferred) Experience in health and wellness or premium consumer brands. Familiarity with ecommerce and subscription platforms and modern commerce infrastructure. Experience with content-as-product or personalization systems. Experience with voice-of-customer measurement such as NPS or CSAT. Familiarity with agentic commerce and emerging channels in subscription experiences. Experience at an omnichannel brand balancing DTC with retail or marketplace channels. How You’ll Work Collaborate effectively across teams and disciplines. Communicate clearly with relevant stakeholders. Navigate changing priorities while maintaining accountability for outcomes. Demonstrate Seed’s values through how you work, make decisions, and collaborate. Make decisions with incomplete information, and reframe, escalate, or stop stalled work rather than letting it drift. Key partners: Product Design; Engineering; Brand; Lifecycle Marketing; Growth Product; Member Experience; Data Analytics; Product Marketing. Use AI thoughtfully and responsibly to improve productivity and effectiveness in this role. Work & Physical Requirements This role is primarily performed in a remote, computer-based work environment.
