Mobile User Acquisition Manager at Fanatics Collectibles

Job description

About Us Fanatics is building a leading global digital sports platform. We ignite the passions of global sports fans and maximize the presence and reach for our hundreds of sports partners globally by offering products and services across Fanatics Commerce, Fanatics Collectibles, and Fanatics Betting & Gaming, allowing sports fans to Buy, Collect, and Bet. Through the Fanatics platform, sports fans can buy licensed fan gear, jerseys, lifestyle and streetwear products, headwear, and hardgoods; collect physical and digital trading cards, sports memorabilia, and other digital assets; and bet as the company builds its Sportsbook and iGaming platform. Fanatics has an established database of over 100 million global sports fans; a global partner network with approximately 900 sports properties, including major national and international professional sports leagues, players associations, teams, colleges, college conferences and retail partners, 2,500 athletes and celebrities, and 200 exclusive athletes; and over 2,000 retail locations, including its Lids retail stores. Our more than 22,000 employees are committed to relentlessly enhancing the fan experience and delighting sports fans globally. About the Team Fanatics Collectibles is a new company operating at the intersection of collectibles, culture, and technology. Backed by world-class investors, operators, and sports & entertainment partners, we are building the global leader in next-generation collectibles. As part of the broader Fanatics ecosystem, we leverage a digital sports platform that spans over 900 sports properties and engages more than 81 million fans. Together, we are reimagining every part of the collectibles experience for fans, partners, and creators. Summary: Topps Digital builds the digital collectible apps behind some of the most recognizable names in sports and entertainment — MLB, NFL, NBA, UEFA, WWE, Disney, Star Wars, and Marvel — across a portfolio of eight live mobile apps. We’re looking for a Mobile User Acquisition Manager to own paid growth across all of them. This is a hands-on individual contributor role with real ownership. You’ll set the acquisition strategy, control the budget, choose which channels and partners to test, and work directly with designers and producers on the creative that runs. There are no layers between you and the decisions, and you’ll see the impact of your work in the numbers within days. What you’ll be doing... You’ll plan, buy, and optimize paid acquisition and retargeting across Google App Campaigns, Meta, Apple Search Ads, third-party ad networks, and emerging channels like CTV — allocating spend toward whatever is actually returning. You’ll use our attribution stack (Singular) to validate tracking, read cohort performance, and decide where the next dollar goes. You’ll evaluate and onboard new ad partners, keep them supplied with creative and tracking, and hold them to performance. You’ll partner with our design and content teams to build and test creative concepts informed by campaign data, and you’ll turn results into clear, short reports that anyone in the business can act on. As we connect the Topps Digital apps to the wider Fanatics ecosystem — Fanatics Collect, Fanatics LIVE, Topps.com — you’ll help find and run the cross-promotional plays that come out of it. What you’ll bring... 4+ years running mobile app user acquisition, with hands-on ownership of a meaningful paid budget Depth in Google App Campaigns (UAC) and Meta, and the judgment to know when to move spend Fluency with a mobile attribution platform — Singular, AppsFlyer, Adjust, Kochava, or similar Command of mobile growth economics: CPI, CAC, LTV, ROAS, retention, and cohort segmentation Clear writing, and the instinct to make performance data legible to people who don’t live in it Nice to have: Apple Search Ads; experience testing third-party ad networks, DSPs, or CTV; a background in gaming or consumer mobile; interest in sports, entertainment, or trading cards. If you collect, you’ll have a lot of fun here — but we’ll teach you the hobby if you don’t. We occasionally show up where our fans are — All-Star Weekend, Comic Con, Fanatics Fest — so some appetite for live events helps. Ensure your Fanatics job offer is legitimate and don’t fall victim to fraud. Fanatics never seeks payment from job applicants. Feel free to ask your recruiter for a phone call or other type of communication for interview, and ensure your communication is coming from a Fanatics email address (including @collectfanatics.com).
