Job description

Are you ready to own something big? Automox is turning IT admins into IT heroes by replacing traditional tools with our award winning cloud-native endpoint management platform. Our product works autonomously and so do our teams. We value a ‘one team’ mentality where everyone’s unique skills contribute to an environment that encourages collaboration and ownership. At Automox you’re enabled to do your best work, grow your career, and have an impact that will be noticeable. WE ARE A_TOMOX… all that’s missing is U! On Target Earnings Range*: $180,000 - $200,000 OTE Location**: Remote (U.S.-based, except CA & NY metro areas) Reporting to: Mike Johnson, District Sales Manager Account Executive OVERVIEW Vulnerability volume keeps climbing, and attackers now use AI to turn new disclosures into working exploits faster than most teams can test a patch. A monthly patch cycle wasn’t built for that pace. Automox gives IT and security teams a better approach: patch what’s patchable, mitigate what’s not. The autonomous endpoint management platform automates patching and configuration across Windows, macOS, and Linux. When a vulnerability has no fix yet, Automox delivers vetted mitigations at AI speed, so teams can close exposure without waiting on a vendor. Teams set the schedule and the scope, so they can move at the pace and scale their IT/SecOps demands in 2026 and beyond. Thousands of companies and MSPs worldwide trust Automox, including NASA, Yale, Xerox, Allbirds, and UNICEF. That same forward-looking approach shapes how we sell. Every prospect gets a personalized Blueprint for their environment before they buy. Our Turnkey Results application builds it from 1.4 billion policy runs. Buyers see their path to success while they’re still evaluating, backed by proof of value mapping and a business justification built with them. We’re hiring an Account Executive who wants to take that story to market and show IT and security leaders a better way to manage endpoint risk. WHO YOU ARE You’re drawn to markets that are changing fast. You can explain to a CISO why the way they handle vulnerabilities today won’t hold up next year. You move deals forward with discipline and close what you commit. Experience matters, but we hire for drive, coachability, intelligence, and character. You’ve sold complex SaaS or IT security solutions to enterprise buyers, ideally at a challenger brand. You’re used to: Prospecting your own pipeline alongside the pipeline that lands on your desk Qualifying with a methodology like MEDDPICC or MEDDIC Spotting risk in your deals early and working across the team to unblock it We work as one team. AEs, SDRs, channel, solutions engineering, and customer success work deals together, and you’ll have room to do your best work and grow your career. ABOUT AUTOMOX Endpoint risk is growing faster than IT and security teams can hire. Automox is the autonomous endpoint management platform built for that reality. It patches and configures every endpoint automatically, with no on-premises infrastructure. For vulnerabilities that can’t be patched, an AI-speed mitigation pipeline turns new disclosures into human-vetted Worklets that customers deploy on their own terms. Patch what’s patchable, mitigate what’s not. Thousands of companies around the world rely on Automox to stay ahead of what’s coming. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING Prospect relentlessly to build and maintain a healthy pipeline of new opportunities (AE prospecting alongside SDR and Channel inbound) Drive new business revenue growth across assigned accounts. Apply the MEDDPICC methodology to rigorously qualify opportunities, build business justification, and score deals for forecast accuracy. Articulate clear, value-based business justification for customer purchase decisions, aligning Automox solutions with both technical and business drivers. Deliver compelling, consultative product demos that address specific customer challenges. Collaborate with XDRs, Marketing, Sales Engineering, and Customer Success to ensure seamless customer experiences. Maintain disciplined pipeline management and forecasting in Gong. Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets. WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM 3+ years of full-cycle SaaS sales experience, preferably in IT security or infrastructure software. An objective approach to selling, with a focus on identifying risk and executing on plans to overcome it Familiarity with MEDDPICC (or similar methodology) and the ability to build justification frameworks that drive customer purchase decisions. Technical aptitude and credibility with IT professionals, CISOs, and senior decision-makers. Self-motivated, disciplined, and proactive in driving pipeline growth and closing business.
