Job description

Senior Account Manager Company Overview Join a dynamic team that's redefining consumer data analytics. We empower top investment firms and global brands with cutting-edge insights into consumer spending, leveraging privacy-compliant data across geographies. Our real-time intelligence and merchant-level data give clients a competitive edge—and you'll be at the forefront of it all. Role Summary We're hiring a Senior Account Manager to own and grow our CPG and Grocery client portfolio. This isn't a renewals-only role. You'll be expected to identify whitespace within existing accounts and actively sell into it: new product lines, new teams, new use cases. You'll work directly with client stakeholders who use our data for real decisions like where to expand, how to price, and how to read competitive share shifts. The role reports into Corporate Account Management and is fully remote, working standard East Coast hours. What you'll own Full lifecycle management of a CPG, grocery, retail and restaurant account book, with direct accountability for net revenue retention across renewals, upsells, and cross-sells Building and executing against a defensible expansion plan for each account: mapping new buyers, identifying underused product lines, and proactively pitching them before the client asks Serving as the senior point of contact for key accounts, developing relationships with executives beyond your original buyer, so the relationship survives champion turnover Running contract negotiations and renewal conversations with a clear read on where there's room to expand scope, not just hold flat Staying sharp on our product roadmap and translating new capabilities into specific pitches for specific clients, rather than generic feature updates Keeping CRM and account records accurate so that leadership can trust the pipeline numbers Partnering with Product, Marketing, Ops, and Customer Success to solve client problems fast and use those wins as expansion leverage Feeding client and market intelligence back to AM leadership and Product so we're building what CPG, grocery, retail and restaurant clients actually need next What we're looking for 6+ years in account management or client-facing roles at a data, SaaS, or research company, ideally with CPG, Grocery, Retail or Restaurant clients. Bonus points for Commerce Media experience A track record of growing accounts, not just retaining them. If you've carried an expansion or upsell number, we want to hear the specifics Comfort selling to and negotiating with senior stakeholders (VP and above) inside large organizations Working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce Strong analytical instincts. You should be able to look at category or share data and immediately see the story and the pitch inside it Sharp written and verbal communication. You listen well enough to catch what a client didn't say A self-starter who doesn't need to be told to chase whitespace Why join Consumer Edge Competitive salary, 401(k) match, full remote flexibility, and subsidized health benefits. You'll have real ownership over a strategic vertical and direct input into how we build our commerce and CPG product roadmap. Salary Annual base salary for this role is $140,000–$150,000 based on experience, plus commissions, 401(k) match, and subsidized health benefits.
