Job description
WHAT WE ARE BUILDING AT CONVEO
Conveo is the AI research platform enabling fast, affordable, and high-quality consumer / B2B research. Global brands like Unilever, Google, and Orange use our AI video interviewer to generate insights across marketing and product teams.
#1 What problem are we solving, and why is this an important problem to solve
The current/traditional research methods companies rely on are slow, expensive, and superficial. Running great research also requires expertise, which is a blocker to many companies. That directly affects how well companies understand their customers and how well they can serve them.
#2 The team you will join
You will join an extremely talented team of incredibly passionate, high-energy people. We go the extra mile while having the best time of our lives. Our team has the combination of decades of market research knowledge, incredible engineering ability, and experience building companies.
#3 How we operate
- We truly care about our clients and the problem we solve. That means we humbly go the extra mile every time.
- We work hard, and we have fun.
- To keep our quality bar incredibly high, we want to execute with the smallest possible team.
THE ROLE
As a Strategic Sales Director at Conveo, you'll own a focused book of the world's largest brands and turn them into our biggest partnerships. You'll land new strategic logos and grow them from first study into multi-market, multi-year programmes worth seven figures. You'll sell beyond the research team, into CMOs, product leaders, and the C-suite, positioning Conveo as the customer knowledge layer for the whole organisation. You'll work hand in hand with the founders, Customer Success, and Product on deals from $250K up to seven figures, with long, complex sales cycles. You’ll report to our US Head of Revenue.
YOUR MISSION
Land the World's Biggest Brands
- Own a named list of strategic Fortune 500 accounts across CPG, Pharma, Tech, and Financial Services.
- Build deep account plans: org maps, budget holders, strategic priorities, and entry points.
- Multi-thread from day one across insights, marketing, product, procurement, and the executive suite.
- Build and maintain 4-5x pipeline coverage on your book.
Expand Accounts Into $5M+ Partnerships
- Grow initial wins across brands, markets, and business units into multi-year agreements.
- Move the conversation from single studies to always-on research and an enterprise-wide knowledge layer.
- Partner with Customer Success to turn every early project into a proof point for the next budget holder.
- Run executive business reviews that tie Conveo to the customer's commercial outcomes.
Run Complex, Executive-Level Deals
- Lead consultative discovery and build compelling business cases and ROI tied to the customer's KPIs.
- Navigate large buying committees (economic buyer, users, procurement, legal, InfoSec) and own the mutual close plan.
- Negotiate and close clean, scalable enterprise contracts.
- Bring in founders and senior leaders at the right moments to win.
Be the Market & Product Expert
- Know the insights, marketing, and product world inside out, and speak the language of each buyer.
- Stay on top of competitor moves and market trends to sharpen messaging and win bake-offs.
- Provide structured feedback to shape roadmap priorities for enterprise customers.
- Maintain crisp CRM hygiene and accurate forecasting.
What Success Looks Like
- New strategic logos landed, with clear paths to $5M+ in annual value.
- Existing accounts expanded into multi-market, multi-year agreements with rising ACV and ARR.
- Executive relationships (CMO, CPO, C-suite) in every account in your book.
- Accurate forecasts and healthy 4-5x pipeline coverage, quarter after quarter.
- Referenceable flagship customers and repeatable strategic plays we can roll out across the team.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 10+ years of enterprise sales in Enterprise SaaS or Martech, with a focus on strategic or named accounts.
- Track record of closing and expanding complex, multi-stakeholder deals ($500K+ ACV, up to seven figures) with long sales cycles.
- Experience selling to and growing Fortune 500 accounts, including at C-suite level.
- Great if you have a strong network or background in market research, insights, brand, or consulting.
- High energy, self-motivation, and a relentless drive to win.
- Excellent communication skills: active listener, persuasive storyteller, and trusted advisor to senior executives.
- Comfortable with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce) and structured deal methodologies (MEDDIC or similar).
- Team player who thrives in a fast-paced, low-politics, high-standards environment.
WHY JOIN US
At Conveo, you'll join a team that genuinely enjoys working and spending time together. We care about building real relationships, not just great products. That's why we run quarterly team off-sites where we disconnect, reset, and have fun.
Plus
- Own a high-impact role at a hyper-growth, YC-backed AI company.
- Direct access to founders and high-leverage operators.
- Sell to and grow some of the world's most iconic brands.
- Help define how AI-powered research becomes the global default.
- Competitive compensation with meaningful equity upside.
- A culture built on taste, speed, ownership, and ambition.
- Opportunities to travel globally and build real relationships with customers shaping the future.
