About the role
The Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) is part engineer, part solution architect, part product development, and part client-facing problem solver. This role works side-by-side with health system leaders, clinicians, IT teams, and operational stakeholders to understand complex hospital and ambulatory workflows, translate operational challenges into technical solution prototypes, and deploy scalable solutions that improve patient care, optimize workflows, and drive data-informed decision-making.
FDE's operate in ambiguous healthcare environments where product, workflow, data, and client needs intersect, turning fragmented clinical and operational data into actionable insights and measurable customer value.
What you will do
Works directly with health system stakeholders, clinicians, administrators, IT teams, and frontline users to understand operational pain points and translate them into solution prototypes that solve meaningful problems.
