Job description

Advance NGA’s Mission Through Data Science Here is your chance to join XTS as a Senior Data Scientist in support of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), where you will help advance the Maven program through imagery acquisition, imagery curation, and data transformation in support of model development. In this role, you will work with complex datasets to prepare and transform information that supports artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML) model development. You will work across geospatial formats, JavaScript Object Notation (JSON), Extensible Markup Language (XML), and other file types, using Python and quantitative methods to clean, analyze, and interpret data. Through quantitative analysis and visualization, you will help identify patterns, investigate inconsistencies, and turn complex information into useful findings. Your work will help establish a reliable data foundation for model development while accounting for the assumptions, limitations, and potential changes that can affect how information is used. If you are passionate about data science, solving complex analytical problems, and supporting mission-critical intelligence capabilities, XTS invites you to bring your experience to support NGA’s mission.
