Job description
ABOUT THE COMPANY
America is under sustained cyber attack. Our adversaries infiltrate our networks, steal our IP, and degrade the digital infrastructure that modern life runs on. They’ve learned—correctly—that those attacks rarely produce consequences.
Twenty was founded to change that, by making our adversaries think twice before they attack us. Our vision is American and allied primacy in cyberspace—a future where they cannot contest us, deterrence is assured, and the free world remains secure.
Founded in 2024, Twenty Technologies (www.twenty.io twenty.io) industrializes offensive cyber operations for the U.S. and its allies. Headquartered in Arlington, Virginia, Twenty has raised $168M from Khosla Ventures, Accel, Caffeinated Capital, Friends & Family Capital, Point72 Ventures, General Catalyst, and In-Q-Tel.

ROLE SUMMARY
This is a 0→1 product role for someone who can move from early user discovery through MVP launch and iteration. You will work closely with a small team of engineers, users, and executive leadership to define the marketplace experience, establish its foundational workflows, and determine how matching, trust, and participation should work at scale.
The problems are complex, the requirements will evolve, and there is no established playbook. Success will require strong product judgment, deep user empathy, and the ability to move fluidly between long-term strategy and hands-on execution.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Own the product vision, strategy, and execution.
- Lead the product from initial discovery through MVP definition, launch, iteration, and scale.
- Conduct user interviews and ongoing discovery across a diverse set of marketplace participants.
- Develop a deep understanding of user workflows, incentives, constraints, and trust requirements.
- Design experiences that support both human users and automated participants.
- Define how marketplace participants discover opportunities, evaluate fit, establish trust, and engage with one another.
- Translate complex operational needs into clear product requirements, priorities, and roadmaps.
- Partner closely with a team of approximately three to five engineers to define scope, sequence delivery, and make sound technical and product tradeoffs.
- Lead or actively support sprint planning, backlog prioritization, acceptance criteria, and product reviews.
- Use real operational signals, user feedback, and product data to improve matching quality and marketplace performance.
- Balance near-term experimentation and delivery with the longer-term development of a scalable platform.
- Brief executive leadership on product strategy, progress, risks, tradeoffs, and key decisions.
- Create alignment across engineering, users, and leadership on what to build, why it matters, and what comes next.
WHO YOU ARE
- You are energized by building products from the ground up, particularly when the problem and solution are not yet fully defined.
- You are motivated by understanding how users actually operate and translating those insights into intuitive, effective product experiences.
- You are comfortable conducting user interviews, identifying patterns, and making decisions when the available signal is incomplete.
- You know how to define a focused MVP, launch it quickly, and use real-world feedback to determine what comes next.
- You bring a pragmatic, outcomes-first approach and know when to prioritize speed, learning, trust, or long-term durability.
- You are comfortable working closely with a small engineering team and taking an active role in shaping requirements, sequencing work, and driving execution.
- You communicate clearly and directly, whether you are working with users, engineers, cross-functional partners, or executive leadership.
- You are at your best in small, high-trust teams with high standards and meaningful ownership.
- You are comfortable in high-speed, high-stakes environments and take the initiative to solve problems even when they fall outside your direct job responsibilities.
MUST HAVE
- You have demonstrated experience taking a product or major capability from 0→1.
- You have experience as a Product Manager with meaningful ownership across both product strategy and execution.
- You have strong user interview, discovery, and synthesis skills.
- You have defined and launched MVPs, using early feedback and product signals to guide iteration.
- You have a deep understanding of user experience, user workflows, and how product decisions shape behavior.
- You have worked closely with technical leads and engineers to scope, prioritize, and sequence product development.
- You can operate effectively with a small engineering team and provide the clarity needed to keep execution moving.
- You have strong product judgment and can make decisions in ambiguous or low-signal environments.
- You can communicate complex product decisions clearly to both technical teams and executive leadership.
NICE TO HAVE
- You have experience leading product development sprints and maintaining strong acceptance criteria.
- You have built marketplace, platform, matching, or multi-sided network products.
- You have experience designing products that require trust, transparency, identity, reputation, or access controls.
- You have built products serving multiple participant types with different workflows and incentives.
- You have built or managed AI-driven or agentic products.
- You have experience designing products used by both humans and automated systems.
- You have worked in government, defense, intelligence, cybersecurity, or similarly mission-driven environments.
TECH ENVIRONMENT (YOU MIGHT WORK WITH)
- You might work with products that use operational data and behavioral signals to improve matching and decision-making.
- You might work alongside teams building AI-driven or agentic participants and workflows.
- You might work with identity, permissions, reputation, and trust systems designed for sensitive environments.
- You might work with backend-heavy platforms supporting complex transactions and participant workflows.
- You might work in environments where security, reliability, transparency, and operational usability matter as much as feature velocity.
