Job description

If you’ve been looking to join a fast-growing startup with a bold vision of a world where doing good is built into everything we do, then you’ve found the right place. Backed by General Catalyst, the same investors behind Stripe and Airbnb, we’re building something truly extraordinary. OUR MISSION Our mission at Goodstack is to revolutionize how the world does good 🌎. As a fast growth, AI-native social impact startup, we power global change through technology. We enable companies to seamlessly integrate positive impact into what they do through a unified platform while supporting nonprofits in gaining access to cutting-edge technology and finding new funding streams. Global brands, including Google, OpenAI, TikTok, LinkedIn, HSBC, Atlassian and Twilio - as well as thousands of nonprofits, including the Red Cross, Cancer Research, and Oxfam - use Goodstack to make a difference. In 2025 alone, we facilitated $5 billion in donations to good causes. But this is just the beginning. We're building the world’s leading platform that powers donations to nonprofits globally. To keep our momentum and deliver consistently high value to our partners, we need incredible people to help us on our journey – we need you 🫵 JOIN US AS A BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE We are looking for someone who constantly pushes us forward, is inquisitive, quick to learn, and willing to sharpen the pencil until the story lands. This is not a standard SDR seat. You will work on our most mature products, the ones with the strongest market position and the clearest track record. They already work. What we are doing now is unlocking new avenues on top of them, and that means identifying new personas, testing new angles, and opening opportunities the business has not gone after before. That is where you come in. You will be at the forefront of that work, in a fast-paced and fast-moving environment where the picture changes as we learn. You will work on the front line alongside our strategic account executives, and you will have significant exposure to senior management across the business. Very little of this is handed to you fully formed, and your findings will shape where we go next. This is a role for someone looking to genuinely accelerate their early career. AS BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE, YOUR MISSION WILL BE TO: - Conduct outbound to enterprise businesses globally; 100+ prospects a month. - Qualify and progress early-cycle prospects on what you source. - Find leverage in tooling; we expect you to bring technology to the problem and make yourself measurably more efficient and more impactful over time, not just busier. - Automate the parts of the job that should be automated. Research, enrichment, list building, personalisation at volume; if you are doing it manually twice, you should be building the system that does it the third time. - Identify and test new personas, then define the ICP around what actually responds. - Refine how we position ourselves as we move into new territory. What we start with will not be what we settle on. - Sequence design and testing. Every sequence has a hypothesis and a written outcome. - Ensure HubSpot data quality and pipeline hygiene. - Convert event and inbound follow-up with marketing. THIS ROLE IS A PERFECT MATCH FOR YOU IF YOU HAVE/ARE: - Track record of rapid progression: an SDR or BDR seat, consulting, or something you built yourself. - Comfort with modern GTM tooling: HubSpot plus Clay, Unify, Cognism, AirSpeed, n8n, or equivalent. Fluency with LLMs beyond chat. - Enterprise or multi-stakeholder selling exposure. - Excellent written English. Most of the outreach is written, and quality matters. - Are sharp and want to work with people who will tell you when you're wrong. - Learn something once. We give direct feedback and expect it applied immediately. - Are genuinely curious. The best version of this role asks better questions than we do. - Are comfortable on the phone and can build rapport quickly with people you have never spoken to. - Confident telephone manner and disciplined follow-through on what gets said. - Have automated your own job before, or wanted to and weren't allowed. - Are persistent and selective. Enterprise motion requires discipline, especially at scale. - Would rather sharpen the plan than be handed one. - Care about the mission. We build giving infrastructure, and that has to matter to you. BONUS IF YOU HAVE KNOWLEDGE OR LOVE OF: - Scripting ability (Python, SQL) or genuine no-code depth. - Nonprofit, social impact, or WPG sector knowledge. - Early-stage experience where no playbook existed, or opening a new market. - Multi-product selling. 🇺🇸 WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT UPON JOINING OUR TEAM 💰 Salary reviews and share options becoming an integral part of our growth and share in the company's success 💝 Goodstack’s Workplace Giving ⚕️Private Health Insurance 🍽 On Tuesday, lunch is on Goodstack 🌞 $300 Brighten your day annual budget 🤓 $1,200 Learning & development annual budget 📚 Goodstack library ⭐️ Paid days off to volunteer for non-profit causes 🎤 Paid days to attend conferences 🥳 Paid day off on your birthday! 🌴 25 days annual leave, plus paid public holidays 💙 Paid sick leave 🧘🏽 Paid wellness leave ⚖️ Flexible working hours 🖥️ WFH budget upon joining 🌳 Ecologi Carbon Offsetting 🙌 … and so much more ABOUT US Since 2017, Goodstack has been at the forefront of creating a future where good will be built into everything we do.
