Job Duties :
Develop automation scripts in Java for testing application build based on the user requirements. Use Oracle database to store and retrieve data and writing SQL, as part of database interaction. Integrate project with Jenkins tool and schedule the builds automatically. Use Cloud device automation on platforms such as Sauce Labs. Recommend system solutions by comparing advantages and disadvantages of custom development and purchase alternatives. Develop unit testing and system integration testing using Junit framework. Develop RESTful Web Services JSON, SOAP of the application. Perform data modeling and management leveraging Relational Database Management Systems, SQL and Store Procedures and utilize ORM frameworks.
Develop multi-tier web-based applications using J2EE technologies including JSP, Servlets, Struts, JSF, EJB, Spring IOC, MVC and JDBC following J2EE design patterns. Develop Spring and Hibernate applications and Oracle on back end side. Develop JUnit, Ant and Log4j for testing, building and logging information. Develop and deploy applications in UNIX and Windows Environment. Perform code reviews. Manage version control repositories and branching in Git and Subversion. Attend Scrum and Sprint planning meetings.
