Job description
Position : Software Engineer
Job Duties :
Develop prototype of applications and verify functionality. Work in Agile Environment. Involved in complete life cycle of software development including the design, development, testing and deployment of applications. Develop J2EE components including Servlets, JSP, JSTL, AJAX, SAX, XSLT, JAXP, JNDI, JMS and MQ Series by using IDE Application Framework. Implement Spring Validation Framework for Server-side validation, Java/J2EE design patterns like Business Delegate, Data Transfer Object (DTO) and Data Access Object. Develop JSP’s with Custom Tag Libraries for control of the business processes in middle-tier and their integration. Integrate Spring DAO for data access using Hibernate; use HQL and SQL for querying databases; configure Spring Container to implement IOC/DI of Spring Beans and manage life circle. Use Hibernate, object/relational-mapping (ORM) solution and technique of mapping data representation from MVC model to Oracle Relational data model with SQL-based schema. Use Core Java concepts such as Multi-Threading, Exception Handling and Collection APIs to implement features and enhancements. Track, report, resolve issues, proactively evaluates project activities, builds contingency plans and execute corrective actions.

Job Duties :
Design and implement service layer using Spring IOC and annotations and Controllers using Spring MVC. Design and implement new RESTful Web services using JSON data format to communicate with all external systems. Write technical specifications based on analysis of complex business requirements. Build innovative web services utilizing Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) from development through to production. Analyze, describe and model new and existing business technology processes.
Define, maintain and support Java and Microsoft development environment using Maven, Sonar, and Open Source tools. Perform code reviews, unit testing and integration testing.
Implement error handling on RESTful services to return correct HTTP status codes. Write Automation Tests in Java to validate the end to end business functionality for RESTful services.
Implement CQL Scripts using NoSQL database programming and Apache Cassandra. Develop Spark code using Scala and Spark-SQL/Streaming. Implement Scala code for data frame operations, UDFs, Joins and Filters. Implement components following test-driven development methodology using JUnit. Create Selenium test cases for automation using Selenium Web Driver and Java. Use Jmeter for performance testing on RESTful web services.
