Staff Recruiter, Corporate Functions (Contract) at Databricks

Job description

GAQ427R214 We're looking for a Staff Recruiter to be the driving force behind hiring the strategic talent that powers our operational engine across AMER — Finance, Legal, People, and the broader Corporate Functions org. These are the people who partner directly with business leaders, solve our most complex operational and organizational challenges, and make Databricks impossible to compete against. Your job is to find them, win them, and close them. This is an exciting time to be part of the rocketship and the Databricks expansion across AMER. We're scaling fast, the bar is high, and the demand for elite corporate and business operations talent has never been more intense. You'll own full-cycle hiring for some of the most sought-after profiles in the market, partnering directly with Corporate Functions leadership to build teams that don't yet exist. Recruiters at Databricks are subject matter experts when it comes to talent attraction and are given full autonomy to bring new ideas and creative approaches to life. If you thrive in ambiguity, move fast, and get energy from building in a high-growth, high-pressure environment, read on. The impact you will have: Own full-cycle recruiting for Corporate Functions roles across AMER — Finance, Legal, People, Workplace, and Corporate leadership — from first outreach to close. Partner with Corporate Functions leaders as a true strategic advisor on sourcing strategy, market mapping, competitive intelligence, compensation positioning, and talent insights. Activate and engage passive, high-caliber corporate talent — the strategic thinkers and operational leaders who aren't actively looking but are exactly who we need. Build and sustain engaged talent pipelines that can keep pace with aggressive hiring goals and our continued AMER expansion. Create closing strategies that win against the most competitive offers in the market and manage stakeholder expectations with data. Use data to set benchmarks and metrics, drive workforce planning, and continuously sharpen our hiring process as we scale. Champion a world-class candidate experience and act as a brand ambassador for Databricks at every touchpoint. Play a key role in building a diverse, inclusive, and exceptionally high-caliber workforce. What we look for: Proven experience recruiting within the high-growth software, tech, or enterprise SaaS industry, ideally for Corporate Functions profiles across Finance, Legal, People, and Operations. A track record of scaling teams at a high-growth company — you know what it takes to hire fast without dropping the bar. High energy, grit, and a relentless work ethic — you get stuff done and you don't wait to be told how. A modern, tech-forward mindset: genuinely curious about the business, hands-on with new AI and productivity tools, and able to speak credibly to specialized corporate and operational candidates. Comfort with ambiguity and scale — you stay calm, prioritize ruthlessly, and thrive when the goalposts move and the pressure is on. The ability to build strategic partnerships across the business and influence senior corporate executives with data and conviction. A creative, resourceful approach to sourcing — you don't rely on the obvious channels and you love finding top-tier corporate talent others can't. Strong ownership and a bias for action; you treat your requisitions like they're your own business. Pay Range Transparency Databricks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents the expected base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles.
