• Run test simulations using Spice software (LTspice, Pspice, or equivalent).
• Assemble, test, and perform initial bring-up of hardware prototypes.
• Utilize lab equipment such as mixed-signal oscilloscopes, electronic loads, and multimeters to verify system performance against specifications.
• Develop and execute comprehensive hardware test plans, thermal testing, and reliability testing.
• Troubleshoot hardware issues down to the component level.
• Create and maintain engineering documentation, including hardware design specifications, BOMs (Bill of Materials), schematics, and detailed instruction documentation for end users.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
• Active Interim Secret Clearance with ability to obtain/maintain TS/SCI clearance.
• US Citizenship.
• Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a strictly related discipline.
• 5 years of similar/related experience. • Masters Degree will be considered in lieu of 2 years of experience.

• Strong fundamental knowledge of both digital and analog circuit design.
• Experience with common embedded communication protocols, including I2C, SPI, UART, RS-232/485, CAN, Ethernet, and USB.
• Hands-on experience with standard electronics laboratory equipment for debugging and characterization (power supplies, electronic loads, multimeters, and oscilloscopes).
• Moderate proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems microcontroller programming.
• Fundamental understanding of EMI/EMC mitigation techniques and the ability to incorporate that into designs.
• Comprehensive understanding of fiber optic system components and how to integrate them into designs.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair fiberoptic systems (multi-mode and single-mode circular mil and SC).
• Ability to travel up to 10%.
Additional desired experience and skills:
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and a highly methodical approach to root-cause analysis and troubleshooting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly document processes and explain complex technical concepts to non-technical groups.
• Highly detail-oriented with a steadfast commitment to delivering high-quality, reliable, and safe hardware.
