As a Roadway Design Engineer , you will provide design and production support in the development of construction plans for roadway projects throughout Georgia for clients such as GDOT and local municipalities and counties. *This position is eligible for a sign-on-bonus! *Work is flexible around hybrid schedule! Your Primary Responsibilities will include • Perform engineering design including horizontal alignments, vertical alignments, 3D modeling and cross-sections, pavement design, and temporary traffic control plans, quantities, and cost estimates. • Preparing of project documentation including Typical Section Packages, Pavement Design Package, Design Variations and Exceptions, Estimated Quantity Reports, and Project Meeting minutes. • Collaborating with clients, sub-consultant partners, technical staff, and managers across multiple disciplines to develop quality deliverables within schedule and budgetary requirements. • Directing and mentoring less-experienced support staff. • Supporting business development efforts including proposal pursuit efforts. What you'll need
