SOFT's client located in New York, NY ( Hybrid ) is looking for a Information Security Analyst - Incident Response for a long term contract assignment.
Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience in information security, with direct exposure to incident response, security operations, or investigations
• Previous experience in collecting and analyzing threat intelligence from open and closed sources
• Previous experience in project management
• Previous experience in effectively producing and conducting threat briefings and consultancy to various audiences, including technical and executive leadership teams
• Solid conceptual knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, and system architectures.
• Proficiency analyzing logs/events across SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk), analytics tools (e.g., Tableau), and other security telemetry sources.
• Threat hunting experience across hybrid environments
Responsibilities:
• Collect, analyze, and evaluate information from a variety of sources and convert it into actionable intelligence
• Conduct analysis, triage, and incident response activities
• Collaborate with internal and external contacts in the law enforcement community
• Communicate with a broad array of stakeholders across the Bank
• Work with various audiences across organization to implement programs
• Write reports and provide briefings to executives and other personnel
